Telefang

Every day I'll attempt to make a successful Telefang thread until I succeed.
Here are all the translated ROMs

I've played and completed this. I had little to no idea what was going on because of the fucked up translation when I played it as "Pokemon Diamond". I liked the mechanic of having to wait for your monsters to get to the fight from presumably where you originally met them.

For the clever opponent, injure increase!

I played some of the translated rom a couple years ago and it was pretty fun. It's sad that the series died off so quickly.

You know OP, your threads would succeed if you actually posted in them

Fucking retard

It may just be the sucky translation but I blame the sequel, It changes so much.

I don't like trying to find something to say, It feels like I'm trying to force a conversation.

Telefang 1 is pretty infamous thanks to the bootleg, but what about Telefang 2 on the GBA? Hardly anyone ever mentions it.

Most of us know about the bootleg Pokemon Diamond shit, but Telefang always looked like a copy of that copy of Neopets.

All this time I never knew...

I only played a tiny bit of it, but I think it doesn't live up to its predecessor. It cuts a bunch of denjuu, you have to register what denjuu you want to call, changes how types work, and this is only an issue with the translation but the yes/no thing is broken. That last part may be a different story if you don't play on mGBA though.

have you tried joining the ZOE3 poster

This was a real game OP? I had know idea. Love monster catchers though so I'll give it a go.

Great, but I should apparently warn you that getting new denjuu is like yo-kai watch where you just win a battle and be lucky. This game has much less annoying rates though,

The music was composed by the same woman who composed for Castlevania. Great game.

I bought the "Pokemon" bootleg when I was a kid, it was great.

Thanks for the warning. I'm used to that system from playing Disc Creatures anyways.

You can only use items to help your odds in Telefang 2. In 1 you just need to try 5 times tops, 15 if you already got that one.

Is Telefang actually fun to play?
I remember not liking it that much as a kid but Ithink that was mostly because of the Pokemon Diamond bullshit they pulled

Noted.

my favorite pokemon

It's basically Pokemon, but with a more simple type chart.

I had fun with it mostly because they handled grinding pretty well. You just need to find the item that will give your guy a ton of exp and fuse twelve of it with him. And only one battle is needed to activate the exp.

One last thing, when you win a T-Fanger battle (which is the best song btw) you will get the number of the last guy you killed.

Oooh nice. I'm liking the soundtrack too.

Whenever I start up Telefang 2 I get a blank white screen. Any clue on why?

What are you using to play the game?

>6.66 MB filesize

I normally use Visualboy Advance, is there one that's better?

mGBA manages to get the game running but as I said here the yes/no selector thing is broken. Maybe it was made for flashcards.

holy fucking shit, that chinese bootleg pokemon game i got for my GBA was actually a real thing
