I’m not sure if I’m mid-late game but I’m really liking the faster pace of the combat and the storyline and characters. It feels like a much more focused XCOM that’s heavily about the action itself and less micromanagement. The side missions for characters and your police department also feel a lot more meaningful in terms of how it relates to the story and don’t just feel like randomly generated fights where you basically do the same thing each time. Overall I like it. Definitely not a full package type of XCOM with its sandbox feel but fun and interesting in its own way.

Im playing ight now, in one of the end investigations. Gameplay's alright if you like SWATcom sort of stuff, feels like a elaborate mod. Character abilities are alright, but the amount of enemies (not including fucking REINFORCEMENTS) gets a bit much for your tools i think.
