The worst thing about the FFVII "Remake" betrayal is the huge number of retards all over the Internet that applaud the changes.

just don't play it ok? the game was clearly not made for you. in fact, just disregard all of SE's games going forward, you'll be much happier.
It's a good game, stay sad.
The worst part is that retards keep making new threads instead of posting in already existing ones.
Disregard that, I suck cocks.
>IT'S GOOD BECAUSE I'M CONFUSED
has been a recurring statement.
It's Lost all over again.
People loved 13 so much it spawned 2 fucking sequels, what did you expect?
There is a reality somewhere where people aren't okay with consuming garbage on a daily basis, it's just not ours.
Welcome to the world of main series Pokémon!
I paid for it, not knowing what I was in for. I believed SE could do something as simple as copy-pasting the main plot of their most famous game.
I won't be buying the sequels, though.
That's because they never played the original
It's hip to be a contrarian on Yas Forums
Also, zoomers have shit taste
It's a remake you brainlet. It's implied there will have been changes made. I bet your dumbass was hyping it up this whole time until you played it because your reading comprehension sucks
(You)
What exactly did they do that was a betrayal? I’m asking because I’m unfamiliar with both versions and I don’t play much Final Fantasy.
Seething dismissive beta cuck
Dilate
I liked it and the original.
lmao time ghosts
remember that time when wesker went through time in remake1 just so he could tell chris about what was going on and gave him the master key and then they went further into umbrella labratory and jill didn't get captured and holyshit get this its epic, jill and chris team up to take down umbrella with wesker against old wesker. the look on old wesker face when he realizes that he turns into a superhuman, like omg it was so fucking epic
It's selling great too so sucks to be you.
They (square) promised a 'faithful retelling' of the original story. Only the very beginning tries to be faithful, then it goes completely off the rails in a really retarded way. tl;dr: It was a giant bait and switch
If you are this attached to a video game, maybe you should find a new hobby.
TPBP
The original was a pretty straightforward story in the first part. Mercenary guy, formerly a member of the elite military force of a world-controlling corporation, joins an eco-terrorist group that fights said corporation. During his time with the terrorists, he discovers that Sephiroth, a man he thought died years ago, is still alive. Since that guy is potentially a threat to the entire planet, he convinces his friends to chase after him and stop him.
It gets complicated later, but since Remake only cover the part I just described, the Remake should have been simple and clean. However, it's not.
They added time ghosts that appear in key moments of the plot. Originally, no one know what these ghosts are or what they're trying to do, since they seem to attack or help people at random. They intervene every time things begin to differ from the original plot, and reraill stuff. For example, when the hero tries to kill an enemy that didn't die in the original game, the ghosts arrive and swoop him away, so his enemy doesn't die. It's finally revealed that they're an incarnation of fate, and try to enforce destiny. Sephiroth, who is apparently aware of how things ended in the original game (ie, he failed and died because he's the bad guy), manipulates the heroes into killing the time ghosts, therefore opening a path for a future where he can be succesful. So now we know that, whatever happens in the sequel, it won't be the original plot.
theres a shitton of good changes in the remake but for some reason you choose the bad ones
>remember that time when wesker
Irrelevant, we are talking about ff7 remake here. Not resident evil.
No, your star wars argument doesnt work either.
Hf faggot
The original game still exists and you can still play it. I can never understand people getting upset that a remake changes things like it somehow ruins the original. I'd rather them change things, or at least add things. The worst case scenario is that it's bad and I can still play the original. The best case scenario is that I have another good game to play.
If they change as little as possible, in the best case, you have the same game you already had with better graphics and physics.
If it's bad it's bad, but it's better to try to make something good and interesting if you're going to do a remake, otherwise you might as well just do a simple port and leave it be.
>ice cream with honey
fuckkk
Disregard that, still sucking cocks over here.
then just play the original
another cry thread lol
>People loved 13 so much it spawned 2 fucking sequels, what did you expect?
I thought it was because Squenix were broke and had a bunch of assets to reuse?
>mad because he can't read
>can never understand people getting upset that a remake changes things like it somehow ruins the original.
Because people were hoping to be able to play the old story with much improved graphics, voice acting, and perhaps fleshing out some things (and this is what SE lead us to believe would be the case for the most part, so they are the ones who set expectations), but they got something different, and getting your positive hopes for something good crushed doesn’t feel nice.
"Betrayl"
lol
You fail to acknowledge the point that multiple statements from Square and people working on the game said it would be true to the original experience
Haven’t played the game, but has anything explain why through the timeline off in the first place what would prompt the time jannies to intervene? It’s just Sephiroth having knowledge he should have somehow?
Take your meds, schizo
>because it's ridiculous in a doesn't make it ridiculous in b
i loved ff7r but the ending was ass. if you're defending it then you're just consuming shit
>spending hundreds of millions of dollars on something where everyone already knows the ending
The retard is you, user. You've had time to cope with the reality of the situation from the moment they announced the "remake"
Autistic manchildren like you are in fact a small minority, yes.
Maybe your brain will grow up someday and you'll realize how stupid and cringe you were at this moment.
I'll be honest and admit that I haven't been paying much attention to this, I don't really play FF games (other than Tactics and CC), and I didn't like FFVII. That sounds pretty shitty, though. If SE made promises they didn't keep, I get being upset. I figured this was just Yas Forums doing their usual thing and hating different things for being different.
>Can't read or write well enough to counter argue
It's because you know you're retarded for not assuming it would be different
