What's your favorite Resident Evil game? I'll start.
RESIDENT EVIL
FUCK MY SISTER ALREADY LEON
Good taste, but get ready for classicfags to come in and start listing their precious cut content like muh spiders
Fuck em.
I love Claire.
>Not wanting giant spiders in the RE engine
Faggots, the pair of you. REmake and 4 are still my favourites to replay, REmake 2 would be on that list too if it weren’t for the fucking sewers and the ivy infested NEST which might as well just be a walking sim.
Five, with coop. If that's not an option, four.
More was cut than just spiders, more exposition on the events and better written chief journals were lost. This also lead to the lazy release of RE3.
Spiders are the most generic enemies in gaming. I'm glad REmake 2 did away with them.
Yikes.
1 > 2 > 2R > 1R > 3 > 3R > CV > 0 > 7 > 4 > 5 > 6
> Spiders
> Not Zombies
zombies in a literal and literary sense do not die
>4 that low
Bruh get outta here.
Name one(1) game this gen that let you kill giant spiders. Go ahead froglet I’m waiting.
What?
Also locations they could've expanded upon but cut completely like the chemical plant and deserted factory. Also simplifying the story for ADHD retards like making Irons a crazy lunatic from the get-go who Claire suicidally shit-talks at gunpoint, Annette being a bipolar cunt who decides for some reason Sherry is beyond saving despite the vaccine being pretty much next door and the very idea of a concurrent story cut because Capcom tried to shorthand people and panicked when they weren't having it.
Kirby Star Allies
4 is shit get fucked
>REmake 2 would be on that list too if it weren’t for the fucking sewers and the ivy infested NEST which might as well just be a walking sim.
You mean the original right? The Remake actually gives you some puzzles to solve and enemies to fight. In the original you basically just walk from cutscene to cutscene in the sewer. There's like 2 rooms with enemies.
Doom Eternal. (Arachnatron)
sigh these are pretty much all valid criticisms but what killed me the most was
you needhelp
Ivies are worthless, they just waste a minute of my fucking time and 60 units of fuel. The middle room is a slog to run through especially when you want to go back and grab the extra hip pouch.
REmake is flawed in that it adds a little too much extra in the vein of re4. the original mansion was slightly more believable in that you could rationalize that the puzzles were kind of a security through obscurity type thing, whereas REmake had a key hidden in a fuckin cerberus' collar, and one hidden in an elaborate underground tomb that was clearly overengineered
More like what's you first Resident Evil game
I don't hate the remake user. It's no masterpiece though and Capcom's direction with it really irks me. And no, I don't care about tank controls and fixed camera.
1: Remake 2
2: RE2
3: RE3
4: Remake
5: RE4
6: CV
7: R3make
8: RE5
9: RE0
10: RE7
The rest
What is it with you fags complaining about any tiny change or cut, it's so fucking petty.
You don't see people calling the original lazy for having Sherry and Ada do the same segment with the same shitty block pushing """puzzle""" to throw Claire/Leon the key. That gets a free pass and never gets mentioned.
The put the Ivy and Aligotor in the Remake cause they know fans wanna see it and you dumb fags still complain about it being soulless, because Capcom doesn't have infinite time and resources. ALL projects make compromises like this.
All I wanted was a proper remake of 2 with some new content.
i love the remake but those certain things are like itches i cant scratch, itchy tasty
user the production values of OG RE2 and RE2make aren't even comparable.
They had years of development time and tens of millions of dollars of budget and they still had to cut a lot of shit. A remake should add on top of what already existed, not cut.
>tfw everyone hates RE6
Uncharted with zombies was fun, fuck you. Plus you get like a 30 hour campaign with mercenaries and cool multiplayer modes
I prefer it to RE5
>the rest
you mean 1, you fucking turd?
No one ever complained about Sherry and Ada having unique sections now though. No one is even complaining about the new puzzles in the lab or how they expanded the sewers either. The reason the remake would be called lazy compared to the original is that the original had a much smaller crew and a shorter period of time to release it after the failure that was 1.5. It's a miracle the original turned out as well as it did and it's disappointing that the remake which had a much more generous period of time lacks in areas some ancient ps1 game performed better in.
And the same can be said for RE3R too, except it's even worse there. Not only did they have assets from RE7 but RE2 as well and they still failed to live up to the original.
