And by 2013 literally none of CJ's struggle mattered and ballas were in total control of Grove Street. The whole plot of the game was pointless all that happened was CJ got revenge on Big Smoke and Ryder, and they only betrayed him because he came back. He could have just stayed gone and avoided the whole thing.

Always seemed like a raw deal that CJ got, and that everything after Las Venturas was just Rockstar tying up loose ends in some majorly hamfisted ways.

Still wish Ryder would have gone differently. Shouldn't have just haad him up and disappear from the story only to kill him. I remember watching a video about the "Green Sabre" mission and Ryder could have literally been wrote out of the cutscene.

Probably. Carl only ever bitches about Smoke betraying him and Ryder only has 2 generic lines when you go to kill him.
Plus his missions actually massively help the Groves unlike Smoke's.

Ryder wanted to rape cj and sweet sister cesar tell that when cj feel bad for killing him but after hearing that he was fine for what he did

its pretty incredible how this dude ended up being one of the most iconic gta characters while showing up in like 7 missions in the game and fucking disappearing

The VA got fired or quit mid development so they had to scrap a lot of his storyline and reused voice lines for the mission where you end up killing him.

That came out of nowhere, really feel like they were trying hard to find an excuse for CJ to not have to bring up Ryder afterward.
