I liked it too, the community building thing is something neat to mess with between combat filled outings. I loved coming across a legendary and getting a neat gun that may or may not break the game. Its not unplayable garbage like everyone wants to pretend. Until someone copies bethesdas formula and does it better we're stuck with what we got.

It had major flaws and I wouldn't consider it a worthy sequel to 3 or New Vegas. I did however have fun exploring the areas.

never had significant issues with bugs in 4, writing didnt bother me, only criticism of 4 is that the SPECIAL system is shittier than 3 and new vegas ,a 76 is a microtransaction-filled mess so fuck that.

why can't Bethesda bring Obisdian to keep making west coast fallout story based games, while bethesda focuses on making east coast exploration/loot games?

I liked some things about Skyrim With Guns but I just wish it had better factions. I didn't give a fuck about any of the choices they give you. At least the Far Harbor DLC was pretty enjoyable.

Fallout 4 would've been a whole lot better if it had just been about conquering and rebuilding the Commonwealth. Instead of being a soldier your character could've been a genius pre-war architect or engineer who just woke up in the vault and was dragged into everything because they knew how to build shit really well.

Bethesda obviously doesn't like how Obsidian is way better than they are at making Fallout games. Remember how they missed out on Bonus checks by missing 1 point on Metacritic?

I've been cutting out the RPG fat out of these games and adding crafting elements and settlement mechanics for a decade now and everything was going just fine, you faggots loved it. Fallout 76 was the obvious progression from 4's success but somehow those greasy neckbeard fucks and their youtube channels made it cool to hate my game. How could you? What the fuck do you mean you want """human NPCs"""?? None have EVER been human you absolute retard, all we did was stop writing 3 extra ways of saying "yes", every npc in 4 could have been an audiolog.

I liked it until I entered the Institute. Then the total shallowness of the factions and the main quest design became extremely apparent and it all felt stupid and pointless.

they are so deep into development that I can see it being finished. Even if its not then they have shit ton of assets they can release as standalone mods, which will be almost as good. And if it's not Fallout Miami, Cascadia and that Fallout 2 remake still have a chance.

I enjoy fallout 4 and skyrim without mods. As a matter of fact, i never use mods.

The exploration, combat, and some of the sidekicks like the synth detective was good. The voiced protag, simplistic dialogue, and base building mechanics in a series that never fucking needed it was bad. There also wasn't enough settlements because 70% of this game's development seems like it went into its base building, trash collecting autism simulator.
