Game development in the third world

So my third world country somehow created one of my favorite games ever and that kinda inspired me of producing my own game, but where do I get the funds?

A Mexican company that is developing a Metroidvania launched a Kickstarter and it already has over 50k dollars

Is Kickstarter a good idea to fund a game?

Third world people developers, share your stories

Why are there so many Mexican game development threads?
Instead making so many threads learn C and blender and start making shit or atleast grab Unity.
>Funds
ZUN and Ukraine devs make their games with Alcohol alone, you can too.
If you want to make games for money you ain't gonna make it.

For example the Shinobu VR game has been in development WITHOUT FUNDS for 2-3 years and the guy is going somewhere, and the dev is also Mexican.

>start work on a basic unity physics sandbox.
>Start with the foundations.
>Take a brief siesta of 10 years.
>Add some minor content, release the game.

So glad they're replacing these lazy spics for the sequel.

Kawaii

Source of him being Mexican

In his old youtube channel videos and in the patreon posts explaining about why the game is set in a Mexican house.

Bump

Do you have a portfolio, start making games even if they suck.
