>Cyberpunk 2077 is not actually cyberpunk
yeah right
Cyberpunk 2077 is not actually cyberpunk
i don't quite understand the point you're trying to make here. i can't even tell if you're defending cyberpunk or not
motoko is cute!
cute!!
Just ask them if they watched Bladerunner. If they say yes, disregard anything they say about the genre
I like ghost in the shell. Great series. We need more games
you've never watched Bladerunner?
2077 is going to flop because of sjw
check em
for 2077 shills cyberpunk just means robots, you can see this because the only defense they have is responding with "muh night" "muh rain" "muh neon"
all that shit happens nowadays too, except we got megacities as well so i guess the real redpill is that we're now more cyperpunk than cyperpunk itself
we just need to perfect killing robots
The PS1 game was alot of fun to fuck around in but was pretty bad to actually play
im saying that this version of cyberpunk (pic related) is actually a inferior depiction of the cyberpunk genre
more realistic and toned down cyberpunk is superior
Who cares? It's going to be an ugly pile of SJW GTA ripoff shit.
Ghost in the Shell stole almost everything from Neuromancer
>taking all the shitposting seriously
the entire genre did
>best we got in years was that defunct crappy F2P Nexon game
Why can't we have nice things
He's saying a lot of the stuff people hate about 2077 was in ghost in the shell
its a crypto GitS tread, dont tell the cops
Standalone Complex is just a more complicated way of saying meme.
okay but then what side of the cyberpunk debate are you on because cyberpunk has flying cars and shit too
im saying it doesnt need them and actually benefits from a bit of restraint
well yeah basically
Turns out the real cyberpunk was our lives in the current year all along.
based or cringe
How exactly are you planning to have a GitS thread here if it's going to be overrun by anti-CDPR trolls soon?
And William Gibson just stole almost everything from early to mid 20th century dystopic sci-fi.
dyke cyborg got bamboozled
i say based
trolls are for sustenance
OG blade runner sucks sorry to break it to you
Turns out all authors stole the English language.
It's cringe as fuck but that sort of incel baiting shit is appropriate to the franchise considering the original manga contained outright porn. I'm going say it, except for the Mamoru Oshii film Ghost in the Shell kind of sucks.
I just want a cool GitS game, bros,
why do zoomers hate soul?
>shitposting about 2077 on Yas Forums is quite literally a standalone complex
more like a samefagging complex perpetrated by one obsessed faggot spamming the board every day with 2077 hate
Sorry it wasn't fast paced and full of Marvel quips, zoomie.
Cringe. The show was lgbtq garbage
Someone post the webms from the Netflix show, holy shit it's cringe
All the money they could have spent on a GiTS crossover was instead spent on celebrity meme garbage.
Who the fuck made this? Most of those comparisons/juxtapositions make no sense.
this happened in evangelion too
what the actual fuck even is this?
who the fuck brings up sex and then blue balls the other person after they have the guts to offer??
How bad are we talking?
Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be used as the new definition for what Cyberpunk is in the future, nothing can stop it
the original manga the entire franchise is based on has motoko participating in daily lesbian gangbangs, you dumb conservatard prudefag
>Yas Forums prefers a Cyberpunk in aesthetics rather than Cyberpunk in themes
pure cringe. bet you're the kind of fags who just HATE steampunk even tho it's what you fucking love.
guy is a fag, shinji was also gay
REAL cyberpunk is simply imagining what the future looks like and was dead by the 90s
any pastel bladerunner rip-off is using a commercialized aesthetic and is a disgrace to cyberpunk and goes against everything the genre represents
Thoughts on the new GiTS series?
In His defense any release of the og bladerunner besides original theatrical is garbage
>that joke being misinterpreted in the current year
never change 4chads
(combat cyborgs cant have sex (outside of the manga))
Not that guy but while the original Bladerunner is visually stunning it is boring as fuck because it's a detective story with no mystery and the main character is less interesting than one of the side characters. Certain scenes like the "Tears in the Rain" scene are beautifully written but most of the movie is sadly not. It's made even worse by Ridley Scott being a moron and thinking his unicorn gobbledygook added anything to the story.
If I had to guess I'd say the point is to demonstrate that the original Blade Runner had better lighting.
>mgs2
Holy fuck, what is that? Christ almighty, how do you go from SAC to that?
this is begging for a >shadman edit
Not that guy you are responding to but if that's what the person intended they are a laughble human being.
>light coming through blinds art!
>light not coming through blinds isnt!
sums up about half that image in terms of the lighting differences.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex for the ps2 is pretty fucking cool.
It's tech noir which has elements of a "chase" film. I guess I get why everyone is asshurt about things like RDR2 pace of play. Is the average attention span now under a minute? JFC
>how do you go from SAC to that
You say that SAC wasn't crap too.
I hate "punk" genres cause they dont have any counter-cultural relevance anymore. Where's my dystopic facebook or mcdonalds fiction?
user...
This is SAC
Having played that game I can say it definitely isn't. It's a sub par TPS that is boring, short and easy.
it wasnt, fuckoff
based
Okay the art is bad, but is the plot in SAC 2045 worth watching?
Man, I don't like the look of that CG at all. Not a fan of how Motoko looks either.
Admittedly, it was a long time ago since I played it, but I remember having a blast in the multiplayer pvp mode.
Dude, I just said it's boring because the writing is bad, not that the pacing is too slow. Did you even read what I said? I don't mind slow pacing at all but it has to have a point and the vast majority of Bladerunner doesn't and depending on what cut we're talking about it's partially because Riddley Scott got obsessed with the "Is Dekard a replicant?" thing when it changes very very littler about what is good about the story. Like I said, the Rutger Hauer stuff is great because it actually poses a question of "Are these machines that different from us?". That is an interesting plot. A detective walking around accomplishing nothing and solving no mysteries while more interesting characters around him do shit that's actually relevant to what should be the theme of the movie is not good writing but again I should say it's not good directing not because it doesn't look good but because Ridley Scott's choices in what changes to make to the plot where bad because he's a good director but not a very good writer in my opinion.
