>Build up an overarching Old God villain for multiple expansions pulling the strings behind most of the disasters in the world >Have him as the last living Old God >Known to be the smartest >Go full Lovecraftian shit with the idea of Nyalotha and build it up through whispers >Have him die in 1 fucking patch in a shit raid with an awful ending >He doesn't do a single intelligent thing or have a cool twist
Technically the other two are still alive we just pushed them back to prison. And ye it was shit, you could argue that nzoth was weakest of them but it still didn't make sense. It really shows that blizzard doesn't give a fuck about lore anymore.
Jaxon Myers
My favorite part about the 8.3 raid tier is how literally all the bosses use skeletons from 15 years ago. kek.
You are a literal subhuman tranny if you still play retail WoW.
blizzard is wasted potential incarnate. Everything cool they once had, is just rushed simple garbage for the zoomer masses to blaze through now. Blizzard is shit now, but the community certainly isn't helping them be better. They can't at this point, even if they wanted to.
Samuel Cook
Blizzard nerfed the old gods into basic bitch mooks in some lorebook awhile ago. Its really not surprising.
Thomas Peterson
>What a fucking waste every single patch we have a "What a fucking waste" thread. Like how are you not conditioned for disappointment yet? Its always so cookie cutter every single time.
Charles Adams
If they didn't fuck up the Garrosh plot then the story would be worth listening to. And i wish that we didnt verse N'zoth this expansion but later on in wow, or even be beaten by him and he releases the other old gods. then thats where shadow lands kicks in
Andrew Myers
It's still shit, all the new lore is awful, and Shadowlands is a thinly veiled nostalgia cash in like WoD
>Hey remember your favouruite characters who died >Hey member Uther
Adrian Johnson
I'd wager there is a 99.9% chance they got Arthas waiting on the back burner for one of the patches to rope losers back into the game when they burn out for the 200th time. He'll be redeemed and help defeat the real villain. God forbid someone just dies in this shitshow.
Benjamin Ramirez
>But WAIT! >there are even more powerful entity then Legion sargeras and Nzoz combined >they are called void lards after the lame patch of the void lords >but WAIT there are even more powerful entities blizzard in nutshell
Sebastian Carter
Of course, they can't wait for Arthas and he will play into Sylvanas
Thomas Parker
It's like the dragon ball series. Starts off as fantasy with a certain level of grounded reality, then fast forward a bit and everyone is capable of destroying multiple realities and dimensions.
Bentley Butler
N'zoth never happened. BfA was a fever dream. There is no war in Stormwind.
maybe they'll pull something like "We can defeat the void lords in all realities, but have to sacrifice our own timeline to destroy them" at the end of WoW so they remove both the void lords and get to reboot the franchise from whatever point they want
Asher Collins
We haven't seen void lords in WoW yet, have we?
Ian Watson
asmonchad is far sighting through the alpha atm in out of bounds zones it's cool haha weee
Eli Gonzalez
He's a fucking retard, why do people still listen to him
Carter Martin
That's Immol'thar, he is a vanilla boss from Dire Maul.
he's literally the same cancerous type of person he complains about
Tyler Wilson
You mean just like legion was too? >tried to be a better BC >look Illidan! How about bfa in general? >tried to be a better vanilla >look the factions are warring again!
Xavier Harris
Factions hardly warred in Vanilla and itwas nothing like BFA at all. Every big raid and zone was like a mini adventure against a different foe
Michael King
What you mean pushed back to prision? Yogg-Saron was "killed" by players in Udular, and so was C'Thun in Ahn'qiraj. And Y'Shaarj was already killed by the titan Aman'thul (but his heart is still beating as we saw in Siege of Orgrimmar). And we killed N'zoth in Ny'alotha.
So, technically they are dead or almost dead, not in prision...
Liam Roberts
They are beyond life and death, although how that makes sense with shadowlands who knows
Nathaniel Taylor
>Yogg-Saron was "killed" by players in Udular, and so was C'Thun in Ahn'qiraj No, they don't. That's why the titans have problems with them, you can't "kill" them without destroying the planet.
Angel Sullivan
They were imprisoned for a reason, even titans couldn't kill them.
Wyatt Cruz
kek asmongold and his grp just got killed by a gm on the alpha and then gm showed up and said gg, wholesome
