Not really

this was such a cool concept

I think they could make a good Blinx game if they tried again.
They were close last time, and there's been more examples made to reference since then.

Halo and Blinx, yeah wow what a great library.

Blinx was a cool concept and I gets entirely too much hate by those few remember it.

halo, blinx, mad dash, brute force, stubbs the zombie, fuzion frenzy, conker, fable, kung fu chaos, whacked, mechassault

I enjoy playing an hour or two of halo wars, gears, and forza a week for free. Not the best games ever. Definitely worth playing for free though.

I have never seen anyone here mention king fu chaos. I fucking loved that game dude. That is the only game I have kept a physical copy of through all these years

I'm glad you enjoyed the game but try to keep your cock in your pants.

>no JSRF
Shame.

Pepper ridge farm remembers.

Probably because they got too filtered by the later levels in Blinx 1, like the temple and ice levels.
The ice world is pretty understandable though, fuck that place.

Is this the new thing snoyroaches will parrot now this whole gen despite the face PS5 is going to be considerably weaker and have yet to show off any games running on it?

jet set radio future, raze's hell, steel battalion, Loons: The Fight for Fame, Nightcaster, ToeJam & Earl III, Blood Wake, Azurik: Rise of Perathia, Gunvalkyrie, Metal Dungeon

>raze's hell
And here I was thinking I was the only one who played it.

No...

The Xbox actually had quite a number of good exclusives. Some of them were weird, some of them weren't so great in execution although had interesting concepts (like Nightcaster), but I was glad to own one. The PSO port to the Xbox was also great.

This deserves another chance. Not fucking kidding. Some dead mascots had potential to go against the big guys like Mario and Pac-Man but hell nah, Xbox decided that they wanted to look serious and now the only game they have is Halo

Unfortunately Microsoft only ONCE decided that mascots were worthy of attention and that franchise is been in hell until last september when Banjo got added in Smash. Blinx had a very cool concept. I am seeing that every company has a few mascots and Microsoft barely uses his own except for Chief and MAYBE Banjo. Ninty has the Original 8 of Smash as mascots plus the Inklings, SEGA has Sonic, Persona, Bayonetta (and is killing/negating the good franchises that were in Sega Superstars Tennis and I hate that), Capcom has all Mega Men, Darkstalkers and the RE protagonists, Bamco has Pac-Man, Heihachi and their arcade mascots but won't resurrect Klonoa even if asked, Sony has Kratos, Parappa, Jak, Ratchet and Sly and 5 of these names are alive by a long shot. Crash and Spyro barely count anymore since they're multiplats now. And Microsoft now has Banjo, Conker, Blinx and Chief. Guess which one is alive.

This shit needs to stop and they need to resurrect their franchises at full potential.

I think the old guy who had the homing orbs was the most overpowered shit in the game. Sometimes he got TWO fucking kills off that shit.

remember when every western game wasn`t full of sjw shit?

i remember liking blinx, what's with the hate

you fucking cunts always go straight to time sweeper
WHY DOES NOBODY MENTION BREAKDOWN!
A GAME DECADES AHEAD OF ITS TIME

2nd game was lost potential. It got hit with the same rushed game bullshit microsoft kept doing to devs.
>give them time
>game is looking decent to execs so they cut the rest of the dev time in half and rush the game out
>fans get angry and stop buying
>do this on repeat even to cash cow franchises

>The PSO port to the Xbox was also great
And we're living in the timeline where we got Phantasy Star Universe on the 360
and this month we got PSO2 on Xbox One.

how?

I sure do.
If you would have given me a couple of minutes, you might not have been as disappointed of this thread.

Blinx 2 was objectively below average, but it totally had potential. I grew up playing the shit out of it with my cousins. Blinx 3 with a good dev team at the helm would be so fucking fun, IMO.

i just want a vr remake
could you fucking imagine

I think Blinx 1 was a lot more whimsical than Blinx 2. The opportunity to play stealth sections as the Tom Tom Gang, and the extensive customization was neat, but it was clear they were going for a slightly more serious tone. Speaking English instead of gibberish, Blinx gets a scar and looks all angry, and he's not even playable despite his name being in the title.

>punching a T'lan faggot in the chin and the backflipping away
>dodge a punch, roll behind Solus to sniff his ass
>wake up in the cryosleep capsule, newfags realizing they have to play the second half of the game without a hud
Yeah, it would be pretty based in VR

Hahaha you’re so right.

>make it co-op
>each person can fire off time powers separately that affect an area around themselves
>moving close can merge the bubbles and their effects (rewind + fast forward = stop etc.)
>merging two of the same bubble causes them to expand into a stage-wide effect for a set duration
Could be fun.
Not sure if it'd be better as a platformer like the previous ones, or a puzzle game.

If I could one day buy the rights to that franchise, it'd be my dream to make a reboot myself. I don't even give a shit if it flops, I'd be doing it for childhood me.

>Unfortunately Microsoft only ONCE decided that mascots were worthy of attention and that franchise is been in hell
The unfortunate thing with Microsoft is that no matter what crazy concepts and really experimental games they did on OG Xbox. Very few of them sold gangbusters numbers. Halo, Project Gotham, Dead or Alive and Forza were their big console exclusive sellers. Blinx, Voodoo Vince and all the mascot platformers they tried to push either flopped or went to a different publisher like Psychonauts going to Majesco and some of the console exclusives like Malice just died a death in development. Seamus Blackley mentioned Malice on twitter the other day and said it had a ridiculously impressive demo and they loved the game but it just got caught in development hell and the end product sucked. That's why they pretty much wiped the slate in the 360 gen and hired Artoon as a support studio for Mistwalker.

I used to play the chick with the fans but that old guy was tempting as fuck because god damn he was so over powered. He should have been the actual boss of the game.
