Has Microsoft made themselves irrelevant? I could make a case for owning a PC, PS4 and Switch. Why would you buy an Xbox? All exclusives moving forward are coming to PC (only worthwhile one is Forza imo) and if you want to own the “strongest” console, then just buy a PC. What am I missing here?

this. pc gaming is dead. look at all the reports of console players turning off crossplay in major multiplayer titles because of hackers in just the last week. xbox is basically the perfect pc alternative with way better power than ps5, better game library since it actually has back compat, better features like automatic SDR tone mapping to HDR, 4k enhacements etc. i'm already saving up for mine. cyberpunk 2077 edition xbox series x day 1.

70,000 players were banned in a single day. pc hacking is terrible even as a pc player myself. i encounter hackers all the time in my multiplayer games its laughable. only reason i don't play on console yet is because i prefer kb+m for my shooters. everything else is fine on console with a controller. once they accept kb+m i'm ditching pc all together it's just shit and there's not enough on it to warrant staying. pc is a second rate platform for developers now. i had to wait a whole fucking year just to play rdr2 which was game of the gen at the time it released. everyone was playing it accept me. fuck that.

ps5 is garbage it's worse than a rx 5700 from last year. if you're buying a ps5 you literally may as well just buy a pc. xbox at least has technology worth owning it for like automatic HDR, resuming 5+ games where you left off even if you power off the console, automatic background updates for your games etc. pc will never get that tech which is the downside of being such a universal platform.
