>Best played with a controller
Best played with a controller
>it's never true
meh, 3rd person action/adventure games like ass creed and tomb raider do feel better with a controller despite the keyboard controls being fine
But that's false. Can't talk about nu-Raider but the ACs I've played, that is until and including Unity, feel just fine with KB+M, and as always moving the camera is so much better on a mouse.
Don't be retarded OP, just because consoles are shit doesn't mean the controller isn't a viable option for certain types of games and even better in some cases like platformers
Part of what makes a PC good is that you have so many options available.
I always find it awkward to jump in AC with a keyboard
What are you gonna do, shoot it with your 0 bullets?
Yes.
fucking cringe. kill yourself
Horses for courses I guess. The ones I played the most were 1, Black Flag and Unity and not once did I feel like I was getting a worse experience like a game like DMC or Dark Souls would make you feel.
Why do some people INSIST on playing all games with a keyboard?
Are they just poor and their mommy won't buy them a controller?
Do they refuse to touch a controller out of some vendetta?
>Real yakuza use a gamepad
>he doesn't insert an empty magazine then feed the bullet into the chamber because he only needs a single bullet to kill himself
>controllerfag cope
Sad!
All souls games also play much better with kb&m where you don't have to use lock-on ever.
>Use controller for any game that would feel better if I could choose something between full sprint and dead stop
>Use KB+M for anything that has "controller aim assist"
I think some platformers and action games are better with a controller. Don't limit yourself, bait-posting OP.
Autism, unironically.
You'd think with all the money they spend on a computer and the money they save pirating games that they'd actually be able to afford a good controller to play anything that aren't best played with their RGB lighting keyboards.
Classic AC games give you dozens of incremental speeds for just walking. Not having an analog removes all of that. Sure, "it's fine", but you're kind of missing the fun. How are you supposed to roleplay as a hooded assassin when all you have are brisk walk and run?
Nu-Tomb Raider is better on m/kb. Wouldn't think about playing those with a controller. The older ACs, I agree on, but Origins and Odyssey feel better with mouse and keyboard.
Why can't you buy keyboards with an analogue stick for movement?
i use a mouse
ace combat
It's the niche factor of it. People can use keyboards for a variety of things but analog sticks are pretty single purpose. You could probably start a business making super bespoke fancy keyboards with add-ons like that though.
>dozens
lmao wat
>Sure, "it's fine", but you're kind of missing the fun
That's weird because I loved AC before they fucked them up and I sure had my fair share of fun
>How are you supposed to roleplay as a hooded assassin when all you have are brisk walk and run?
Up until the control scheme change after Revelations, you can walk, jog and sprint with moving, moving + Shift and moving + Shift + Space. That's everything I ever needed.
t. not real yakuza
>not sure if this is supposed to insult because real yakuza are scummy criminals
I played 0 with a gamepad and honestly it was far better than KBM could have been but that image every time it starts is cringy.
underrated trilogy
>lmao wat
you can tip-toe, tip toe slightly faster, walk slow, walk a little bit faster, all the way up to your full walking speed. And having to hold shift and space to run sounds awful. Enjoy your arthritis.
I played it with mouse and keyboard then sent my entire game recording to SEGA
So much this in racing games. You either do game with wheel in mind or trash.
Keyboards are fucking gay for games, mice are good for aiming though.
>tip-toe, tip toe slightly faster, walk slow, walk a little bit faster, all the way up to your full walking speed
But we all know AC's "stealth" is so fucking bad and instead of improving it they dropped the Social Stealth aspect of it entirely, you will never ever use any of those.
>And having to hold shift and space to run sounds awful
Meh, I thought it was fine.
>Enjoy your arthritis
I'm young and fit as a fiddle user.
