It's a nice comfy games with some moderate to good gameplay wedged in there. to me it properly defined what the "next gen" sonic game was supposed to be, more streamlined, with a more ambitious atmosphere and visual style that was a bit new for the series. shame they ditched that so early on to turn everything into tonka toyland.
