to all the anons saying fc3:

It's decent, but you need to mod it to fix the bullshit AI.
Also, it has the same problem as Crysis where the first half of the game is great but the rest goes downhill pretty fast.

Yes I played it. I posted the comment above yours. This game had the best single player story and campaign (it had 2 campaigns actually), and one of the best multiplayer experiences of all time. The map creator was amazing and the levels people created + predator abilities and other fun gamemodes made the game such a joy to play.

One day you’d be doing an insane obstacle course/maze with 20 other people while the guy that got to the end slammed rockets at everyone from some high up spot, the next day you’d be playing team deathmatch in a 1:1 replica of Capitol Hill or Times Square, and the next day you’d be playing on a map that’s just a giant slide that you ride with your skidoo. I have so many fond memories and I remember creating so many maps and taking my Xbox HDD to my friends place so we could play them together because he was too poor for Xbox live,

Far Cry 2 despite the shitty malaria gimmick introduced the use of mines, mortars and otherwise potential to really create tactically intense scenarios. The driving was trash tho.

it's a gameplay loop, which works pretty well. The missions are set in different points of the map, so you always drive through different enemy bases. Then as the game progresses, new locations are unlocked and it's a whole new set of bases and cities and whatnot
