I enjoyed it. Liked the music and thought most character designs were good. You can tell 3 especially was rushed. 1 and 2 are the best.

Can agree with these. While I still had a great time replaying the levels from the past in modern graphics, I wish this game had gotten a delay. I would have been annoyed at the time, but the polish would have been worth it. Here's hoping they aren't rushing the next game.

It feels like they aren't. We're already about a year and a half past launch, and it seems like Activision is focusing more on getting another Crash out, if rumors are to be believed. I would guess we're still a year out from another Spyro game, so Toys for Bob should have plenty of time to nail it.

The originals still hold up to this day, but if the remakes are your only option, then yeah, go for it. A couple questionable redesigns, but other than that, most is accurate to the originals. Third game looks rushed too, but it’s nothing that would interrupt playing through it.
In short, the remakes are good.
