I still don't like the turn order and no permadeath, but $10 USD is pretty good deal.

probably first time ever that discount came in handy

My only worry so far is the game length, IGN said 22 hours but I don't trust anyone there to do the side content - it's definitely not bad for that price but I'll wait until more info comes in.

Commander worked with skirmisher faction already in WOTC.

The commander is totally fine with aliens under his command when they're being mind-controlled by a HUMAN psi-op
