Pretty much this, Capcom is well aware people would be willing to buy the game again just due having Vergil being playable, but they also know that they can't just sell it barely a year after release.

I feel a reveal coming soon, Xbox is showing more Series X stuff very soon. DMC5SE being a launch title game for next-gen just makes sense.

Funny I thought it was the worst looking rebellion to date. 4 was the best looking one.

DMC5 is the most finished feeling game in the series. I don't know how anyone could think otherwise.

DMC3SE was better and more well-rounded. DMC5 doesn't feel finished at all, the whole last third of it was horribly rushed, which the story consisting of everyone doing random bullshit for pointless power upgrades.

In the first three games you were the one actually fighting the enemies, every button press mattered. In 4 and 5 you press a button and it sends Dante into a Sony movie game animation. You aren't doing the cool things Nero or Dante are doing, you pressed a button and a precanned cringe animation happens. In the first three games you actually had to string together your moves to move the cool animations happen, you were in control, you were doing it. In this one the game basically plays itself. If someone had told me Naughty Dog got their hands on the IP and developed DMC5 I would believe them.

We already know REmake3 is one of them since it came out, RE8 also leaked and is coming early 2021 cross-gen, we aren't getting anything in Summer because that's too soon and nothing has been revealed. So that leaves Holiday 2020 and Q1 2021

It's just confusing user don't get me wrong, but just look at this youtube.com/watch?v=jJlmMgofJdw sadly can't find a DMC3-5 comparison I am trying to figure the fuck you are saying, the animations are the exact same? you are fully in control in of Dante, this hasn't became a Platinum like title where mashing triangle 3 times makes you do retarded animations all over the place, you still have full control of Dante, the ONLY thing I could give you credit is the SDT finishing move thing, which even then it basically replaces holy water imo, just a "win button" for people that are new to the game

Actually a really solid guess, it would make sense since its one of Capcom's biggest franchises; but I think it's gonna be a reboot/remake though

No, it just started development by a studio named M2; which helped out on REmake3. The leak said it was slated for 2022.

It undersold and under performed. We're not getting and SE, we're going to get another half-assed sequel that just rehashes the same bullshit from 4 again.
