the reticle ones take time to startup so dash forward and block. If the Kilgore notices this he'll do horizontal missiles instead so either jump forward or try shadow counter.

Well Mortal Kombat is trash and so is any fighter built on its engine. Deserves it. Killer Instinct is great and what held it back is it being on the Xbone only and then they fucked up the Steam release (released way too late). The audience was just never gonna get up there

I'd like that we could choose the color of the customization items, or at least that they blended better with other alt skins. It's really weird how much of the gear only works with a specific skin or, in some cases, makes no difference at all (like with Arbiter and Raam).

Your opponent is trying to combo break your shadow move. The announcer yells 1,2,3 and if the 4th input is successful it will break the shadow move combo. You can counter break the 4th input but the timing is tricky.

Unless they changed it since I last played...Steam only worked within steam, couldn't play with Xbone players or those who bought of the MS Store. But MS Store/One were compatible obviously.

But did they have to make it awful? It's stupid how the objective seems to be "stop corruption", but in order to beat the game you have to let the world get corrupted. Most of the time it's just more effective to deploy the characters than to play it like an actual fighting game. And all of this is wrapped in awful gacha mechanics.
Story-wise is okay, nothing spectacular, but serves its purpose.

I remember people loathing the season approach when this game got announced. Nobody wanted a barebone game that promised through passes purchases that it would get more content and characters.
Now almost every fighter does this, and the community begs for more DLC and additional seasons.
