nobody has a desktop computer or space to put one considering the size of a desktop is the size of the desk and chair combined basically. i was once told by a japanese friend that they used to have a macbook air but they sold it because it was too bulky and heavy. that should give you an idea. if it isn't portable enough for the train its pointless. all japanese websites revolve primarily around mobile use. only japanese people i know who have a laptop are ones with very good jobs that travel a lot
