Everyone forgets that Sonic was a platformer like Mario and "Speed" is not a genre unless you're talking about racing games. Sonic should have had a game like Mario 64 where he can run around in environments and use his speed and physics to complete challenges. Unfortunately we will never get that because Sonic fans thrive off garbage.
