If you didn't main Toad you were doing it wrong.
Toad is both the hard mode and the QoL mode. His jumps are low, but his speed is fast. It takes real skill to run through stages and making sure your jumps are on point, sometimes needing a super jump charge to get anywhere. QoL is being able to immediately pull up veggies and enemies with little downtime, all other characters take too long and it's a chore.
If your a man you beat the game Toad only. World 5-1 is a test of true platforming skill. If you cheesed with Luigi or Peach I have no respect for you.

I'm not ashamed to say I am a tryhard Toadfag. I admit I mained Toad in MK64 and Super Circuit as well. But that was Classic Toad. Past 2001 after Sunshine in 2002 they redesigned him into a chubby diaper baby with a grating chainsmoker voice. Toadette was neat in Double Dash but aside from that yeah I don't like Toad anymore. 3D World Toad isn't even that great either, he just sort of runs fast and many other moves and power ups trivialize platforming.

Well I mean I applaud you for the effort but there isnt even any indicator or unlockable for doing so. 3D World does but its a grueling process of getting gold flags on all stages (Hitting the top of every flagpole) which is fucking lame because if you fuck up in some levels you need to replay the entire thing again. By that point you're a masochist chad
