Is there any videogame podcast that's actually good at discussing the subject at hand, fucking videogames, and isn't just a parasocial friend simulator for losers or one man's cult of personality hour long jerkoff session for easily impressionable minds?

you are a pretentious fuck, ain't you big boy?

are you okay?

Actually I'm just desperate.

yeah you sound like a cunt, you dont deserve to have ears that can hear anything

im in the same boat

>videogame podcast
I thought the point of podcasts was to digest things you would never be able to experience otherwise

literally what's wrong with wanting a program about a topic to be driven by a topic instead of the """"personalities""" presenting that topic? its why midwits flock to shit like jre or hardcore history when things like in our time or pbs newshour exist which actually field experts for each subject.

fpbp

Bumping for interest.

Elaborate

It's the same appeal a documentary or behinds the scene footage has innit?

How about you grow the heck up and listen to podcasts about news or politics, dumb frogposter?

I'd feel miserable and kill myself in like a month

yeah because those definitely don't have the issues op was talking about

No? It's just a radio show but online.

What board are you on right now?

Liking video games doesn't necessitate listening to video games podcasts anymore than it means you should be wearing video game clothes.

Are you shocked videogame podcasts are being discussed in a videogame board? People who like film watch actor/director round tables. Same concept.

EZA podcast is OK

Damiani sometimes cries a bit too much but otherwise its informative

There's a new one coming out called Triple Click that's less games and more industry focused as well

>Triple Click
>Kirk Hamilton, Maddy Myers, and Jason Schreier talk about video games

Sounds like a nightmare

>jre or hardcore history
These two are atrocious to listen to. What's the appeal seriously? It feels tailored towards idiots and americans.

Cum Town/Red Scare

Seeing gamers being immature will never shock me. That doesn't mean I shouldn't point it out for you so you can try to be better, if and when you're ready.

OP here, I'm specifically looking for videogame podcasts.

Listen to old episodes of Gamespot the hotspot. Back during the beginning of the 360 era. Shit is still funny as fuck and you can see how crazy stuff was back then and compare it to now.

The fact that How Stuff Works is persistently one of the most downloaded podcasts in the world proves that humanity is garbage. And that's before you read the comments where people talk about how smart they feel for listening to it.

nope

Narcisits are rare in life but they're all over any kind of "celebrity" type of community. And losers are all over gaming so friend simulators are everywhere. Tastosis is like half friend simulator, while I would clearly just listen to Korean streams since I love SC:BW that much.

you just described it's main audience retard

Also OP, I specifically don't want silly antics. This poster actually nailed what I am looking for pretty well.

A video game podcast could work if it's useful info like rare or obscure games so you can find new games. Or if it's behind the scenes making of info. But if it's just discussing the game you can go play it yourself.

>Star listening to BBC News World podcast
>learn the world is literally a meat grinder of death and suffering and destruction
>most of the awful events of the world barely make it ot the nightly news.

Thank god for that fluff story at the end huh.

Does anything like that exist? That sounds perfect.

here you go OP. It's as dry as the Sahara and it's nothing but videogame discussion, going deep on one videogame every episode

The middle East is such a hell hole.
Bombs the kill 30 people in the town square is a normal Friday for those people.
