Fallout: New Vegas has lots of weapons, but many of them go without proper acknowledgement. I would like to dedicate this thread to the H&H Tools nail gun. It has the highest fire rate of all one-handed weapons, is completely silent and provides a small piece of lore to the game's universe.
New Vegas Underappreciated Weapons
did the flashbangs and flares do fuckin anything outside of spook the trog reskins?
They also scare off deathclaws. All enemies within the "abomination" grouping are affected by them.
They work on all abominations. So stuff like cazadors and night stalkers.
Oh and the flashbangs severely decrease all enemy's offensive skills.
Good choice. I personally like pushy.
unironically my favorite weapon. Always my go to when ammo is low.
Surely a very unique design. All of the unarmed weapons are cool. They really went above and beyond when they added the special unarmed moves, truly makes a playthrough with them more distinct from melee playthroughs.
I made use of its unique counterpart in my last playthrough. Surprisingly powerful.
The Caravan Shotgun is pretty underrated. It usually carries me from Goodsprings to Nipton.
there's just something about beating someones head until it explodes that makes me grin. I love videogames
Based and *clunk*pilled
he said underappreciated, that gun is a staple of any guns build
I want to do a Legion Frumentarii playthrough with the machete gladius.
I always liked the idea of a permanently red hot kitchen knife
Murdered the entire powder gang with this thing. All to avoid reputation loss. Fond memories.
the unarmed weapons and their unique variants are so cool
I was dissapointed that when I got my first ballistic fist it didnt use ammo. It would have been cool to reload it during fights, and load in different shotgun rounds.
Spent most of the game sawing my enemies to mush and consuming there flesh to sustain me.
Just noticed even the handle is Art Deco.
that would be cool to like load a beanbag and send someone flying and unconscious
They intended for it to use shells. They also intended for the other power gauntlets to run on enery cells ( you can still see them in the model -> ). Simply ran out of time. If you're on PC then there's mods you can download that implement it.
One of my many playthroughs involves using only construction based weapons, so the industrial hand will be my favorite to use
Been thinking about doing a detective playthrough with the police pistol and the police baton as my primary weapons.
I love this thing so much. It being a silent weapon makes for fun sneak kills running up to someone with this loud fucking noise without alerting them.
New Vegas has an overwhelming amount of cool weapons. Its actually hard for me to pick even just a handful.
My character could use like 8 weapons set to hotkeys, and even picking 8 was hard because theres so many cool ones.
It's honestly kind of a shame that the amount of cool guns in new vegas is limited by the number of targets you can use them on. There's just not ever much of a reason to use awesome shit like grenade machineguns or tesla cannons
A whole lot of diddly...
If you ever feel like really fucking around with an unarmed build, get solid project mod and enable takedowns, That shit is so much fun.
pic completely unrelated just because I finally got the game looking like I wanted with this enb
