How important are PC cases really?
How important are PC cases really?
Don't really matter unless you need great cooling because you're overclocking in the jungle.
I seriously miss the 2000s industrial case design with all that anodized aluminum.
i ran my parts out of a brown paper grocery bag for a couple days while waiting for my real case to ship
1: good insulation?
thats it
Do you fags pick a particular brand over another?
it's important that you have one that you like to look at, and has minor features you like inside.
for instance i just upgraded to a cash that has a shroud covering the psu area. always wanted that. lends itself to a cleaner look and slightly reduced temps from better airflow paths for the gpu cpu.
you know, for all the shit you pcfags give to consolefags about DRM, you sure love not having a CD-ROM drive in your PCs
>case is easy to work with
>looks beautiful, sleek and modern
>pretty inexpensive
Sweet, this wi-
>has a side glass panel
>no alternate models
+ 30fps if rgb
as a bonus they provide proper air flow(who cares)
How important is having a filter for your PC case? Mine came with one, but it turns out removing isn't an option. In order to wash out dust with water I'd have to unfasten it (difficult) and then dangle my entire set up over a sing such that I can poor water through it from a bucket.
No importance at all, the closer to a slick, smooth box the better, just because it can be cleaned easier. Flippers, crevices, fucking air flow thingy are all shit
Clear side panels suck
smacks of caring about stuff like rgb on keyboards, like you're trying to prove something to someone.
the person you're trying to prove it to isn't here/doesn't exist. nobody cares. just get the case dude.
or ask me for a better recommendation similar to it,.
even if your case is 100% encrusted with dust, all it does is hurt your cooling somewhat
just clean it where you can so as not to be gross
It's one of the most important parts IMO, it's the base of your computer and often dictates which parts you can have
Good airflow, enough space for big GPU and removable HDD cage, dust filters.
Those with glass front panel with triple LED fans are retarded, the fans suck air from nowhere.
I never put the side of my shitty Rosewill gaming case on because my GPU was too big. That was in 2013. I have only had to dust out the components once to maintain good temperatures. I used a house fan blowing into the case to keep them down on a few >95 degree summer days.
Friendly reminder
So what's with this obsession the current market has with glass cases and LEDs if the no setup is designed for reasonable dusting?
Important. Not only for easy of installing parts or fixing issues, but cable management and air flow are big ones. Its stupid to buy such expensive components and throw them in a case that looks nice, but overheats like a motherfucker.
Really big if you want a console sized PC that's powerful as fuck like mine. It's a damn shame most PC owners aren't pushing for this and stick to ugly as fuck huge boxes with a glass window
>that image
ok now that's sexy
That little shit box is stupid and ugly I'd NEVER want that thing.
I want BIG. I want bigger than Full ATX. I want my computer to be the size of a desk.
you are shit and your taste is shit
Why such a cheap CPU cooler?
hows the airflow on this thing?
>noctua
>cheap
ok lol
are you retarded? most xbox/ps CDs have copy protection... ie. DRM.
Absolutely nothing of value was lost.
I just ordered this last night to replace my Define R5.
I like the Define but I just don't need something so big anymore now that I have a NAS.
yeah, why would I want to be able to work in my computer without pulling my hair out, or have every component be less than 90C?
they need to have enough space for everything to fit and good ventilation, everything else is just retarded fashion shit. you can use a fucking cardboard box if you want
lol whatever fag, have a fun time taking your entire computer apart to put in some more ram.
It just works!
>ou sure love not having a CD-ROM drive in your PCs
Why would we have optical drives today
I have one in my secondary computer for rare uses, but the last time it was used was like 2 years ago.
>clear case
a case designed for airflow is better than a case without. good case also allows for easier cable management
