Who is it for? You have to grind your ass off, whereas in a good Final Fantasy, getting into random encounters and not fleeing while on the main story path is enough to get by.
The story is a nonsensical mess.
The characters are LOLRANDOM.
Only thing the game has going for it are the set pieces, like the Japanese Hogwarts the cast attends.
