Dragon Marked For Death just got some patches and fixes, now it works online. So who's playing, and what are you playing?

I just started with the Shinobi to try things out, seems pretty fun so far. Can't wait to play it co-op tomorrow.

is it true that solo is not possible ?

Shinobi seems like it's going to be a dominant class online. Being able to airdash everywhere and constantly shit out easy damage seems way too appealing to brainlets.

It should be possible, but dependent on class. Warrior is probably the least likely to be able to solo due to his lack of movement skills. Shinobi is probably the most likely, but he has shit HP and defense, and no healing, so you better git really fukken gud. The game isn't really made for solo though, it's meant for co-op.

>it's meant for co-op
if people are not so good, still doable ? I'm cautious with online with strangers

So far I've cleared everything with randoms playing myself. Really, as long as people use their fucking skills everyone should be fine.

>Shinobi is probably the most likely, but he has shit HP and defense, and no healing, so you better git really fukken gud.

Dude has invincibility frames out the ass, nullifies those weaknesses into nothing. People don't even have to get that good to use him.

Is PC/Steam version gonna revive this game or is it going to die again after the first week?

>Is PC/Steam version gonna revive this game or is it going to die again after the first week?
Hopefully it revives it. Because I know I bought it on PC, fuck the Switch. Piece of underpowered shit.

Is the online cross-platform?

>online
>ever being cross platform
You should know better. And cross platform should be the fucking standard, but no, it's not. Thanks, corporate cocksuckers, for absolutely nothing.

>they actually fixed the online
Well shit, I'm genuinely surprised.

In the Switch version the ideal team was something like 3 Witches and 1 Shinobi, occasionally throwing in a Warrior if a boss's patterns were too hard to facetank or removing the Shinobi if one DP bar is enough to kill a boss.

Really, the only games that don't seem to get fixed anymore are, ironically, the high budget AAA "experience" games. Fallout 76 for example, is never going to be fixed. It was a $60 turd, and they'll never fix any part of it. But this is damn near indie tier of a game, their dev can't really afford to shit the bed and hope "die hard" fans (which don't exist, because they're basically indie tier) just always buy their shit anyway.

The common mouthbreather retard is basically what ruined gaming, but thankfully some companies aren't immune to failure and thus can and will fix shit.

>pc release could have revived the long-dead switch fanbase
>no crossplatform
Oh for fuck's sake.
For a second I even thought about buying it again, but they're still charging 40 fucking dollars for it.

The game seems pretty cool and it would probably be fun online with just random matchmaking because I don't have any friends but I cannot justify that price so I will continue on playing single player with my pirated copy

Is the update live on Switch?

This game looks really slow, how much can you do in it? Is it similar to dragons crown?

No, and they don't even have a estimated time yet.

>but they're still charging 40 fucking dollars for it.
Because this version comes with the extra characters and DLC. Also this is a standard business practice for gaming, companies do this shit all the time. All the bitching in the world has not changed it, so it's not changing.

>Is it similar to dragons crown?
Yes, if Dragon's Crown played more like Megaman Z/ZX.

You can play online with pirated copies. Only with other pirates so it's kinda hard to find one, let alone 3 others. But it's there.
It would help a bit if the update gets ripped since worldwide matchmaking doesn't work on the release version.

I solo'd almost everything with witch, the only stuff I didn't bother with was the higher levels cavern of torment which are definitely still possible to solo, especially since the devs made it so you get a longer timer there if you're solo.

cute navel

Every time I try it it says Unable to find a party. I don't know if that's because no other pirates are trying to play online, it's not possible to play online, or it's just broken.

You have a pirated copy you fucking retard, most of those don't function online, and on top of that, online was broken until the patch today for the retail version.

There's no other pirates and it's locked to your steam download region even if you set it to worldwide. It got fixed with the update.

There was a point (ver2.1) where it was nearly impossible to solo endgame with any non-Witch class, but that's not the case anymore.

Can you really only unlock Oracle and Bandit through getting the true ending?

does it have crossplay? dead on arrival otherwise

Nope.

Crossplay wouldn't be possible anyway, Switch is still on version 2.3

No. Oracle is unlocked after beating the final boss regardless of ending. Bandit is unlocked via quests related to them.
