What are some weapons you'd like to see more of in video games?
What are some weapons you'd like to see more of in video games?
>weaken your sword by cutting huge chucks out of the blade
>would probably break long before you get the chance to 'catch' your enemy's
alternatively you could just fucking smack them with a hammer
I've always liked the cinquedea since it naturally looks like something out a video game. That being said it doesn't actually show up in many games at all.
Assassin's creed 2
Fantasy ones. Had this design for a medieval type armor harness since I was a teenager that's more maneuverable than a shield and more deadly than a standard blade. Want to see a wall of these fuckers taking out footmen.
what a dumb image the slots on that "sword breaker" are not nearly deep enough to actually catch a sword and they don't break swords they disarm the opponent you would break your wrist before a sword would "break"
We need to talk about that blank watermark.
Hammers, maces, flails and morning starts.
I don't understand, if it were to "catch" a sword wouldn't the recoil cause its user to cut themselves with their own fucking blade? Why is the other side even sharp if its purpose is to intercept opposing swords?
it's a main gauche, not a sword
though there's no way you could break someone's sword by catching it and flicking your wrist
Nigga why didn't you make the slots to be curvy? That shit will break in half the moment it "catches" the sword
The second most likely cause of an erection for a medieval bishop.
This seems obselete. It would be made so much more effective with a ball or block on the end
Swordbreakers look sick but in reality they usually don't literally break swords and it seems like a good way to lose fingers if you fuck up...
But the idea of an 'anti sword meta' weapon is cool
It's in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and its sequel, along with Swordbreaker .
The sword breaker was made during a time where people duelled with sabers and rapiers so the slots are deep enough. But you're right no ones breaking a fucking sword, the reason it got its name is because you essentially broke the enemies guard.
>then a quick twist of the blade would break your own wrist
Katars look super cool but probably super shit and inefficient to handle
Awakening had a swordbreaker that was an actual sword, looked stupid and had trash durability
how the fuck is that not deep enough dumbass
things like brass knuckles or fist weapons, I really liked the bone fists in dark souls 2
More katanas, the most powerful blades in the world
What does a Mage Masher look like?
this is some antique mall ninja shit
It’s in a lot of JRPGS, specifically Final Fantasy.
Nier automata
t.Odo
You just described 90% of Indian weapons. Its like a nonstop parade of weird anime shit weapons.
my bones hurt looking at this thing
>The sword breaker was made during a time where people duelled with sabers and rapiers so the slots are deep enough
This actually makes a lot more sense for all the people saying it wouldn’t work.
A regular dagger, but with the words "fuck mages" written on the handle.
>Then a quick twist of the wrist could break the sword blade
Was it really THAT easy to break an enemy's sword?
club that hits mages to lower their IQ too much to use spells
Easy mode
>Sword Breaker
Hard mode
>Pic related
Kek
>Was it really THAT easy to break an enemy's sword?
no
There's one in Dragon's Dogma I think.
dumbass those holes 2cm deep when have you every seen a sword with a blade 2cm wide
rapiers and foils, which were probably common dueling swords that someone would use a parrying dagger like in OP to fight with
Doesn't Mount and Blade have these?
No, sword breakers breaking swords is victorian era myth that paroted by modern day retards like many other victorian myths
