Do people know why saves get corrupted or is it not a widespread issue yet and nothing to worry about? Little spooked by seeing some people get their save corrupted and if it happened to me I would just lose all drive to play again. Is it random? People quitting while the game is autosaving?

these threads have had a few hundred anons in them and the only real bug I've seen more than one user complain about is the move out bug which seems unrelated to saving

I spent several hours placing stone pathways around my island and I regret it immensely to the point where it's killing my will to play the game for extended periods of time
Doesn't help that moving buildings is such a pain in the ass either
Fucking Resident Services can't even be moved and it's in the most awkward spot for my island in front of my airport so pathing is cancer for it
I'm debating on just removing all of them or replacing them just with dirt paths and going back to doing what I was doing before I unlocked the construction app, or even deleting the island entirely. Its become this stressful

Do people honestly prefer having to wait extra years just so that they can have all of the content that the game will have available at the start?
Sure, for certain games it makes way more sense for the game to be finished at the start, like any story-based game, but for more sandbox-like games such as Animal Crossing it makes much more sense to release it earlier while releasing free updates over time.
It especially makes sense for a game where you are meant to play it over months or years.
Plus free updates give a similar feeling to when you first get the game, that feeling of excitement anticipating the new content.

I believe I have all the house upgrades (3 side rooms, upstairs and basement) and my current loan is 2.5m. Is that the last payment? I have the bells, but I'm not sure whether to pay it off now or wait until I have a little more saved up. I know people said you get free house exterior changes. How much does that cost? I've never done it before and was wondering if that's really a benefit if it costs the 2.5m.
