Godot did what HE thought was right by taking the law into his own hands. He's a criminal like all the rest, and wanted to make sure Phoenix was a worthy successor in the shittiest way possible. He just did it in a really shitty way because he was "blinded" by his "rage" (hence the red visor) and is also a colossal idiot.

I get that, I've played them all and most of the time I can accept it but there are a few stupid moments that really bug my autism. I'm fine with prisoner prosecutors, witnesses constantly committing perjury and Wright tricking the culprit into self-incrimination but there are moments of pure retardation.

The first is how in 5-5 the Phantom literally is allowed to just destroy the evidence right there. In DGS-1 its a bit more sensible since she is an Englishwoman and the Japanese court needs to appease its British masters, but here its downright retarded that they don't stop the trial there.

Another is also in DGS-3 where van Zieks declares to the court "Surely this rich man would have his own private carriage" and "The defendant has committed usery" with ZERO FUCKING EVIDENCE AND SUSATO EVEN TELLS HIM HE DOESN'T but it happens anyways.
