Never heard of these guys before

Because they're from Larry Niven's Known Space books and were in Star Trek because he wrote an episode of TAS

There are several, they're all just 25+ years old.

Is he "our guy?"

Because the things that make Star Trek good are not things that will make a game good.

The best Star Trek game was probably Elite Force, but that was a good game because it wasn't really authentic Star Trek.

holy shit Yas Forums really is fucking infested

Star Trek Invasion was pretty good.

You mean the things that make Star Trek good are not things that will make for good mainstream appeal

Because there's at least three games that capture the spirit of the shows just fine while being good games besides

Which three games?

Mario Kart (SNES)
Metal Wolf Chaos
Jackie Chan

They might be old point and click adventures but they still do more to make you feel like you're playing an episode of the show much more than anything like Elite Force or Armada could

What are some games where you can do nothing wrong?
