Can we take a moment to discuss this abysmal front-end? Why do the Retroarch devs use XMB?
XMB is the best.
They changed the default recently.
And it's somehow even fucking worse since they literally just used the switch's version UI without doing any changes

XMB isn't the worst thing ever.
The Xbox 360 "Metro" UI was worse.
Is there a way to assign buttons in RetroArch where you DON'T have to know what the controller you're assigning to looks like? This "RetroPad" system they use is retarded and makes setting up the remote player in Parsec a bitch.
Because muh "good for every single device out there" philosophy. As if the problem was the UI and not the terrible input drivers getting stuck when you change cores, terrible folder scanning and other. Retroarch is so much work you're better off setting up standalone emus.
