>BRO JUST EMULATE
BRO JUST EMULATE
Ok
Presentation of abstractions does not matter. They are both blobs of shit that your brain turns into Samus.
>TRUST ME BRO, THEY'RE BOTH THE SAME
is the blurry right one supposed to look better?
> the feeling of cumming inside a CRT
according to this obsessed faggot with eye problems that's been maing these shit threads day and night this past week
NOOOOOO YOU MUST SPEND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS BUYING 50 YEAR OLD ORIGINAL HARDWARE AND PLASTIC BITS OF SHIT WITH 400KB WORTH OF 100 YEAR OLD GAYMS
It's literally the same experience to Emulate.
I grew up on old games with CRT and I don't miss that shit at all
Based AF, pixelfags BTFO.
>BBBBBBUT YOU CAN'T JUST HAVE A DISPOSABLE INCOME
You realise you can emulate on a CRT, right?
Of course not, CRT's had a Sharpness setting which looks like it's not in use here. And then you're supposed to be looking at that shit from the other side of the room because of potential eye damage concerns, nevermind most people at the time had tv's that were around 27" or less... unless you were my mom who just had to have one of those huge 52" models, but wouldn't let you play anything on it because she didn't want the screen to be damaged from image burn in and what not... Enough of my prattle.
>bro use this crazy superduper megagorillaglue crt filter it's the best
Why? SNES9X has three NTSC filters I can turn on and don't go apeshit on my hardware. Even then I barely use them; it's just fun once in a while.
Do graphicsfags really?
Most people who emulate are NOT playing on a crt you mong
people that get an old console do?
But you still can. You can also plug a /vr/ console into an LCD screen.
Your problem isn't with emulation, your problem is with display technology.
His problem is with OLD GOOD NEW BAD, stop trying to give him credit.
>playing old ass video games
for what purpose? are you really have fun looking at shitty graphics?
Some games made fucking art with their limitations.
You won't find any of those on the NES though. SNES and Genesis were the beginning of games looking good.
True but most people who emulate aren't playing games on Groovymame through a J-PAC hooked up to a JAMMA harness in an arcade cabinet, I do though.
A good game is good regardless of graphics limitations
Just buy a CRT monitor for your emulator.
can't think of one retro game that aged well enough for me to enjoy but can think of plenty indie games with the same graphics but with miles better gameplay
Play Chrono Trigger and shut up fagboi there's a reason it got ported to multiple other systems later on
>yeah dude, I can't think about something else you could possibly spend money on except retro video games & It's equipment
Does this look the same as playing on actual hardware on a crt
Not 100%. But must of the inaccuracies (e.g. Mega Drive rainbow banding) is shit you don't want any way.

No, it looks cleaner and you can fix up the colors with the monitor's settings.
Ridley in the first metroid manual looked weird. Like it didnt even match his in game sprite.

Good fucking lord.
dude holy fuck you would not believe the fart i just ripped
Emulation itself is not worse option by any means. The real problem lies on the display tecnology and the way how display handle differet resoluution. Older games were made with Older displays on mind.
Same thing can be kinda noticed with Older pc games. I miss playing Deus ex on 90s crt pc monitor,
