For me it's Xenoblade 2
For me it's Xenoblade 2
RDR2
Bloodborne. Worst meme I fell for.
>finishing games you find to be “truly horrible”
Persona 5
I don't finish games I don't enjoy. What's the point of that?
Dark Souls 2
Persona 5
Any Fromsoft game
Is this bizarro world?
XB2 was a great game that had some flaws: namely, the characterization of the protagonists (Rex and Pyra/Mythra), the core crystal gacha system, and the fact that the combat system takes a long time to fully express itself.
But it was a charming game with beautiful environments, engaging exploration and good worldbuilding.
I just hope that with the next game they ditch the gacha and the shounen protagonist.
Halo 5.
The warden boss fights were awful and there was nothing memorable about any of those levels. The enemies are boring and I'm tired of fighting Covenant. Only part I liked was Locke as a character, doing his job, and saving Chief's ass when it counted.
spec ops the line
complete fucking dog shit, at least it was short
Contrarian Yas Forums in full swing.
For me its Borderlands 2. What a fucking cluster fuck of a game. How can anyone enjoy that?
It's actually astounding how people like that game.
FromSoft games have started a new over saturation trend in gaming comparable to Ubisoft and Call of Duty
I completely agree. Still doesn't effect the quality of the individual titles.
I did it once with a game so I could return it to the shop because it was a terrible game. I had to do it before closing time to get a different one
Trails of Cold Steel. 1, 2 AND 3. And I'm still going to play 4 because of how 3 ended. I'm in too deep, I NEED to see this through.
Dragon quest 11 was the most recent disappointing game I've played. It was so unbelievably bland in every aspect. I felt like I wasted so many hours waiting for it to get good which it never did
Borderlands 2 would be a lot better without the reddit writing
The point is to give yourself the chance to post some odd muppet meme on Yas Forums. That seems to make all those hours of not enjoying something totally worth it.
I don't usually finish the bad ones or even mediocre ones, but I pretty much felt like that after getting halfway through GTA4 and throwing it in the garbage bin.
What an overproduced total piece of shit. Combat is literally below mediocre ps2 era garbage, visuals are ugly as sin, the writing is fucking awful garbage full of cringy quasi-edgy humor AND moral preaching / social commentary at the player at the same time. The pacing sucks, the missions are boring. Everything feels more like a tech demo than an actual fucking game.
Playing terrible games helps to balance out your expectations and appreciation for good (but not great) games. Same with watching shitty movies.
>finishing a game you hate
True autism, just play something you enjoy instead
>I felt like I wasted so many hours waiting for it to get good which it never did
I feel like that with BotW. Just waiting for it to ramp up.
Marathon.
This game was fucking horrible and people on Yas Forums were lying out their ass over it.
I don't understand how you can say Mythra's characterization is poor; she is possibly the most dynamic character in the entire game, especially with the Torna story content. Your takes on Pyra and Rex are more understandable.
The gacha system is especially irritating because its implementation is contradictory to the story's logic and creates several plot holes. One example is how the characters mention the existence of core crystal black markets in a cutscene, but the player can never buy regular core crystals, even though the player can buy items from the black market.
2 was always bad
3 (and BB) were made closer to traditional action games which just emphasises how bad the games are as action games
One of the biggest points of DS1 is also neutered in the later games, that being level interconnectedness and non-linear progression
Plenty to be disappointed by
T: Pedestrian
It's no Doom, sure, but actually a better game than Blood.
You finish a game so that you can properly judge it.
I understand this if you got the game for free, but when somebody gifts you a game or when you buy a game there's an obligation to complete it.
nier automata for me
You're a fucking liar. Every weapon was horrible. The basic enemy is three different colours of the same drawing by a 12 year old. Every level sucked.
Absolute fucking liar. I bet you haven't even played it, you just wanted to trick people into playing garbage.
