Can't believe they included this line in the game

I just finished that portion last night, while there are references for the new DLC coming soon, Beerus being mentioned in that scene isn't one of them.
the cake was delicious

What's the rest of the game like outside the fights? I am not much for fighting games, and never feel like what you get is worth the price. Is there any depth to the rest of the game?
Why didn't they use the dragon balls to wish the planet and the saiyans back?
1 year rule i think. even tho they broke that rule somewhere in the series

That doesn't sound right. Now, I've only watched the Battle of Gods film, but I distinctly recall that Beerus slept through Planet Vegeta's destruction and was legitimately surprised when he found out about it.
It's sad that it's structured the way it is. It's an action game with RPG elements, that obviously was aiming to be a JRPG at one point. The game is pretty fucking awful until after the Frieza saga, that's when the game opens up and gives you freedom.
If people are dead long enough they enter the cycle of rebirth.
There is also the issue of restoring the bodies and forcing the soul back being separate wishes.
To be fair, I don't see how it could be designed any other way. I haven't played it myself but one part of the story literally has Goku go through a one-way road for several days straight.
They changed a bit on Super. Now Beerus "allowed" Freeza to destroy them.
think somewhere in super, Freiza said he did what Beerus told him to blow up planets for him. doesnt explain why Vegeta knew about it
Beerus was asleep before Goku was even born and woke up a couple of days before the battle of the gods film.
What's the freedom like? What do you actually do?
What the fuck? That ruins the scene in the OP
Wasn't Beerus interested in the Super Saiyan God thing? Why would he let Freeza wipe out the Saiyans before one surfaced? Granted, Freeza destroying Planet Vegeta ultimately led to it happening anyway, but there's no way Beerus could have known that.
Vegeta never cared about the Saiyans, he just loves being their Prince. That's why he lets Raditz stay dead, turns down Nappa's idea of breeding more Saiyans with humans, murders Nappa, and was going to kill Goku and Gohan. He was just a prideful maniac before he was redeemed.
Beerus fell asleep after that and he didn't remember about SSG until he woke up and had an itch to fight.
When did Vegeta get redeemed? It feels like everyone just accepted that he's an asshole/battle-tard like Goku. All they way through Z he was willing to let every single person including his wife and son die just for the chance to be stronger than Goku.
When Majin Vegeta exploded is when I would say he become a good guy officially. Super goes further with this and he cares more about other Saiyans and feels bad over what he did to the Namekians.
When he realized he was never gonna be strong enough for any big bad they were gonna fight.
Vegeta had to be humbled multiple times to chill out, first was with his fight with Goku where he had to crawl away into a pod, his big fight with Frieza where he realized he wasn't shit, his fight with best girl where he realized he still ain't shit, and his fight with Cell that continued the cycle of the reminder so of course his big suicide bombing sacrifice would be the one thing that would keep him humbled
Never forget Frieza defeated Vegeta not once, but twice. Once on Namek and then on Earth after he became SSG.
>then on Earth after he became SSG.
Does SDing and destroying the planet after already being defeated count as winning?
You don't read the manga do you?

I thought it was going to be Legacy of Goku 2 but in 3D. It's this weird other thing though, not sure how I could describe it. It feels a bit like a Dynasty Warriors game at times, in that you're playing a very overpowered character most of the time...but every enemy is a bullet sponge tank boss. Literally every enemy. The camera in multi boss fights is the worst thing about it, I wish they'd patch it to allow a bigger field of view, because running away and chipping away at a single opponent so I can 1v1 the remaining opponent isn't a good gameplay loop. I spent 5 minutes doing this for most of the multi boss fights, very frustrating game in places.
Yeah because they suggest that Frieza is probably alive floating in space, like last time he tried destroying a planet
How did he lose? He destroyed the planet and he can survive in space without needing to breathe. He was smarter and beat his opponent, killing him until Whis had to reset time because they fucked up. That's like bitching about Goku getting his ass whipped and pulling out a spirit bomb. It's the same shit, except he doesn't destroy the earth with it. Vegeta lost twice because he's a cocky cunt.
