Which one is worth my time?
ARPG thread
Diablo I
Dungeon Siege. The first one, fuck the others
grim dawn if you dont mind singleplayer
Why always when I start new character in grim dawn I feel like I'm doing the same thing over and over again and get burned out when I get to the farm?
PoE is a fun game with what feels like infinite depths and mechanics, even after ~400 hours I felt as if there was a lot of shit I didn't understand.
It arguably gets worse in the end game though, depends on your mentality. Some like the going fast as fuck one-shotting everything gameplay it devolves into.
Fun for a couple dozen hours and free anyhow -- I didn't pay a penny until like 300 hours in.
>Everyone says Grim Dawn is good
>its boring as fuck
>it's not my taste that is shit
>it's everyone else's
Because you are.
>I like boring unpolished games
Current D3 is far better than this.Contrarians won't agree in fear of Yas Forums coming down on them.
My experiences are as follows:
>good setting, mediocre gameplay
>good gameplay, bad everything else
>most complete but the shortest endgame lifespan
>rich endgame but it's bugfuck retarded
>extremely boring and ugly
>Current D3 is far better than this
>a fucking wowified "arpg"
Could have said this earlier so I wouldn't even bother replying
because that's literally every aRPG
Poe has better gameplay and even a better story than Grim Dawn. Hell, the Lord's Labyrinth alone outclasses anything you'll find in Grim Dawn
>Yas Forums coming down on them
>on an anonymous board
you are probably the smartest kid in your retard class
How is Last Epoch?
Does anyone remember that coop RPG they showed off on some Sony stream a couple months back?
It was like a dark souls looking 3rd person game? It had something to do with gods and it was going to be a 3rd person ARPG too I guess
I can't remember for the life of me the name of it though
>There are no circle jerk hivemind opinions on Yas Forums
W E W
just play D2 like a normal fucking person. and if you've already played it, as you would have if you weren't a fucking underaged retard, play it again, I have over 75,000 hours total into D2 and still go back and play it quite often, the base game never gets stale if you make challenges for yourself but the mods really make it so you have literally infinite playtime.
Which one is similar to Grim Dawn in freedom of builds and dark atmosphere?
Wow yeah man, what if a bunch of retards says "you're favorite videogame is shit", how will I ever keep living on?
>infinite depths and mechanics
what this really means is there are a lot of ways to build your character but none of them play any differently or because the actual gameplay outside of boss fights has less depth than diablo 1
Builds may often end up feeling similar to play, but there's no denying that there's a shitload of mechanics and systems to learn in that game.
>75k hours
wat?
None, play a clicker game instead
peak autism and exaggeration
thats almost playing 12 hours a day during 20 years
>8,760 hours in a year
>nearly 20 years since release, about 175,000 hours
I mean I guess it's possible, some mad man could be near those sorts of hours after 20 years of 10-11 hours a day. I'm sure some old MMO players definitely have.
For me, its Drox Operative. The only space arpg on the market for some reason.
Titan Quest.
Deep down or something?
No no, it was much more recent than that, at the earliest it was like E3 last year.
It was obviously some smaller dev thing but god dammit I cannot remember the game, it just had a cinematic only when they revealed it if I remember but there was gameplay on their site.
