What game has the best hub area?

>When the hub is almost as good as the main game

Fire Link Shrine
Leach's castle
Pretty much every Spyro hub world is cool
Even though the games were meh, Destiny's towers were cool
Gauntlet Dark Legacy
Chao garden
Mario super sluggers
Older lego games (star wars, batman, indiana jones)

Grunty's Lair is good. I can't think of many games that drop you off in the final bosses castle (Even if it was 20 feet from your house)

I want to revisit this place again one day. So many afternoon memories of just walking around and exploring the new places and worlds that where made and even met some decent people. Even though it was one giant ad for upcoming games they put a decent amount of effort into some of the rooms/ collectable items. I hope there's something like this again in the future consoles. This guy made an interesting documentary on it.

I liked the inn in Dishonored.

what do they eat?

>the music
>the game parlor
>getting onto the rooftops
>the hidden passages
>the east-west mafia conflict
>the entire sewer system which is like it’s own town
I love Rogueport.

The Paladin flying fortress from Blacklist.
Having a mobile base while the world went to shit was comfy as fuck

Dark Souls 2
Doom Eternals is pretty cool too
Most of the true 3D marios as well (odyssey didn't really have a hub)
