The graphics are worse than the first version unfortunately. Also having all of the cheat ass DLC installed also ruins game balance because you're basically a super cop and super martial artist before you leave your apartment.

I pre-purchased sleeping dogs as a kid thinking it was gonna be a GTA 4 killer. Hard lesson to me about not buying games before they are out. It wasn't bad, it just didn't live up to my own self made expectations.

The DLC that gives you a ton of fucking experience right out of the gate does not unlock as you progress through the game. I literally fucking described the problem for you and in your haste to shitpost you neglected to read it.
I'm aware you can do this. The problem is players who don't know because they're playing it for the first time aren't going to have a reason to disable DLC that ruins the game's balance.

I really liked the radio stations in this game, and the map was surprisingly pretty good.
The stores were horseshit though, if you look closely the interior is fucking cardboard display, I think you will know if you see it for yourself. But maybe they changed in it the Definitive edition

Sometimes the fucking Steam forgets about your other instal folders and shows the games as if they were uninstaled and even you navigate it properly it still wants you "download" them again, desipite the files being already downloaded.
I had to delete 40GB just to instal DOOM again... and it only took 2 minutes to verify files.
