Headsets have had low availability due to corona. Even on Yas Forums I've seen many anons pissed they can't buy one. It released at a shitty time.

Those have to be some of the most pathetic numbers out there.
Not including unit production cost (i.e. the profit margin, considering build quality, couldn't be higher than 40% of the $1000 pricetag), they made less than $100M profit from headsets + $10M from Alyx sales)

Meanwhile, even at the most generous approximation, they've made, at least, $30 from every single copy of of ~10M Half-Life 2 units they shifted on PC alone (inflation rate not factored in)
