Alex is great at coof builds due to all the viral stuff she has access to, but her BOW sucks and doesn't even fit most of the time on the level terrain. Unlocking the viral zombie and other stuff from her makes Annette more broken overall when she can spam stuff later on around Rank 19 or so.

Prepare to pour whiskey until you have a drinking problem, since you're mostly just going to be set out there to fail repeatedly until you get her Rank 19 or so, which gives another energy reduction ability that can bring lickers down from 7 base energy to only 3 in her hands.
Very badly, since masterminds are designed to fail early on by the devs. You can't customize their deck til Rank 5, and you can't even customize presets on the map until you get Rank 5 with Annette, which is when things really open up more and gives you some zombies to hold your ground with like partially armored zombies that are bullet proof to the front.

The meta for this game changes every damn day, but it seems like the pendulum is starting to swing more towards Masterminds than Survivors.

That's because by this point even the laziest of MMs with the worst que timers have finally been able to level at least a single one to 20+ to unlock the high tier chest and some of the very broken cards to place in decks, while the new survivor meta of stacking all three tiers of mix tape doesn't work unless the character is nearly maxed out on equipment points around Rank 25, which doesn't work in this situation where everyone can only pick a single character to level up. For every person spamming Jill today means there's a high level Val or Jan not going into play, which really makes a difference. I had a match the other day where nobody picked either of them and I had to pick Jan, only to load us into a match against a Spencer. It went about as poorly as you'd expect since the Jill DC'd on Area 1 since people have legit autism about playing against Spencers now.

Depends on the survivor, but for the most part, it's what people have switched over to in order to spam Becca / Jill's rocket launcher, and I'd imagine Val's heals and Jan's x2 cost ability for MM. Probably also useful on Martin for quick stun spam and Tyrone's AoE buff.

If you prioritized the camera with Jill on the final biocore, you could have bought an additional 10 seconds which would have bought you enough time to take down the final biocore and avoided the wall.
