>persona 4 is best persona game
true
>best music
false

i disagree but that's just my opinion and i respect your opinion

I do not like Naoto and I think Ai was the only good romance S.Link

They are all good. P4 def has the best characters but I prefer the music of P5.
Based user respecting the opinions of those he disagrees with

Y tf did Chie wear a skirt and also do high kicks all the time?

I mean, I think P5 is a close second in terms of music, but I did not hate a single track in Persona 4. I can't say the same for Persona 5. I didn't like EVERY track in P5. As for P3, well, I didn't care for a majority of the songs. Maybe 3-4 at best.

P4 just had such an upbeat and catchy soundtrack, even the sad songs were still somewhat relaxing/upbeat.

because the school uniform was comfortable and she liked kung fu

Pretty sure she wore spats underneath the skirt, so it's not like it really mattered. You couldn't see her underwear so she probably wasn't embarrassed by it or worried about it. Of course it would have been way hotter if she didn't wear panties or spats at all but kept the skirt

P1 PSX has the best ost

This isn't a contrarian thread though

Persona 3*

Holy based, Aoki's compositions are some of the best in Megaten

P1 and P2 don't count, grandpa. We're talking about relevant Persona games, and that didn't start until 2006 when Persona 3 hit the market.

I hated P3, well, hate is a strong word. I disliked it the most out of all of them. Tartarus was a retarded concept and 90% of the game revolves around climbing it. Yet, for whatever, a lot of people I've known raved about P3. Had one friend who was obsessed with the game and had P3 wallpaper on his computer and phone. He could tell you everything about the game. Dude even cosplayed as the MC a couple of times.

He was also an autistic introverted Asian, so I suppose he thought the P3 MC was cool.

Persona 3 had an undeniably better story than Persona 4

You are half right. P4 IS the best Persona but when it comes to style and music 5 has it beat.

Dilate

But Persona 4 made me happy and Persona 5 music made me sad...though some of the tracks are quite relaxing.

>Buzzword

Boy, you sure showed me, user.

>P4
best story, characters and group dynamic
>P5
best gameplay, presentation and music

im currently playing P3

I prefer the atmosphere of 3. 4 is a little too cutesy.

The Persona game with the worst cast can not be the best.

5 is not the best, you're right.

I tried to start P3 about three times and could never get through it. I didn't like the premise and gameplay. The atmosphere is super dark and depressing and made me sad. Had a couple of friends TRY to get me to play it at least twice and I always dropped it after like 10-15 hours. Funny enough I loved the hell out of P4 and P5.

I might try to attempt to play P3 again, but I just don't think it's for me.

>Worst cast

That would go to P3 IMO. I didn't care for anyone in the P3 cast. Junpei is a jealous beta faggot and I don't care what Yas Forums says. I never saw the appeal of him. Maybe he gets better as the game progresses but right off the bat I hated Junpei. He reminds me of the weeb guy who tries to one up everyone or be everyone's friend but deep down he hates everybody because he thinks he's superior.

Original P4 opening > Golden opening

I'm guessing you haven't finished P3 because Junpei grows out of all that. That's why he's the best characters, because he has a great character arc and develops more than any other party member in this series.

as long as you're talking about golden, yes.

>but marie
her route is almost entirely about the main cast and you just skip most of her own dialogue

the only bad thing is its on vita.

How hard is it to max all social links on a new game in golden? It isn't my first run, but I never managed to max them all in my previous one.

just follow a sl guide

this song is better than anything in 4/5

I just want to play in bed before I go to sleep. Following a guide is tedious.

Much easier now that you don't have to put up with grinding social stats. Just beware of grinding books too during that time.

every persona is good
>1
satisfying dungeon crawler
>2
solid new interpretation of mainline smt
>3
killer soundtrack and serious story
>4
amazing characters and fun story
>5
awesome artstyle and most fleshed out non combative gameplay

Not likely on a first playthrough. Everyone except guidefags always pretty much ignore Temperance, Death, and sadly Moon. Just play how you want to play

I legit said I stopped playing after 10-15 hours, but it's not because of my hatred for Junpei alone. It is just a myriad of things I don't like about the game. I said I've tried THREE times to play it and I always end up dropping it.

I just can't see the appeal behind the game and why it's praised so much among the fanbase. I'd say it's praised more than any other Persona game, and definitely more than P4.

I cant speak for other games but it was certainly better than P3.
Im pretty sure its almost impossible to max without a guide. Some events and shit are so particular like the hunger social link.
