Honestly now that Kyle is leaving, they need to massively shake up their content. Bosman carried them with his personality. Nobody really wants their solo streams outside of him. I have no idea how they'll be able to survive.

only got into EZA for Bosman streams and E3 reactions, and with both of those gone I've got no reason to stick around. Huber is cool but he works best as a foil, not as the main host.

They need a couple new hires once Kyle leaves. Maybe people who know about a few things other than video games, because their efforts to make content about movies or anime or whatever else have all been awful.

But if they do, they aren't going to prioritize that, they're going to hire a useless woman and a guy who isn't white who can cover sports games.

I'm glad Kyle is leaving. Maybe EZA doesn't have any personality without him, but Kyle fundamentally cared more about his stupid bits and failed comedy career than about video games. And also, Kyle's taste in games was shit and he was kind of a cunt about stuff he didn't like. Moreso even than Ian, Kyle would be a douche about the kinda of people who liked certain games that weren't his taste (Mario and PS1 kids games).

He helped EZA be a good friend simulator but was never good as part of the video games "press". Let him do comedy.

They won't. They'll be gone within a year. Sad but everyone saw this coming. Everyone else there is either lazy, has no talent, or a combination of both. Its going to kind of sad watching them desperately hanging on over the next few months. Its going to be even rougher on them this year with no e3 streams. I don't even like them that much but their e3 streams and some of their podcasts (with the right guests) could be alright to watch.

even when I did it was pretty much solely for kyle's solo streams of either dumb games or tetris anyway
if he's gone I feel literally zero incentive to even glance at their output in the future.

user they only ever covered news that was broken by other outlets and their reviews are lackluster. As 'gaming press' they don't offer anything of value. The only thing they did have was some entertainment through kyle and he's one foot out the door.
Him leaving won't suddenly make them change into some respectable gaming press outlet. They're going to die a slow death of unamusing streams and dry podcasts.

Yes, I stopped watching them after their fanbase begin to behave like children and have a said in the content. It was obvious at that point that all the retrospectives and good content wasn't going to be a priority or a possibility ever. I come to these threads every couple of months to wonder why people are still giving them money and yet read the same complains over and over.

I'm glad he's leaving because I find the organic humor of the rest of them much better than Kyle's forced shit. Brad and Ben joking about "My Ryder" on the Gundam stream was much better than Kyle trying to constantly perform for everyone like a stand-up comedian.

I like them. Probably the only journalism people that I follow. Losing bosman is a bummer. Would rather the ff14 bot damiani left but thats how it is. Huber and Brad are my favorites. Ben and Damiani my least favorites.
