that means your Conjuration skills are really low

so you're only ranking up blades(melee weaps ranks on hits so slower, big damage weaps rank up the skill slower), heavy and/or light armor(when youre hit so it's slow), athletics(slow as well), and block if you do block(ranks up pretty quickly)

I can't get the game to work with the mods I want even though my shitty old computer was able to. It keeps crashing after a few minutes when I try to play. I'm not playing it vanilla ever again.

I love oblivion as a game but the graphics are startrek as fuck and the oblivion levels are shit

you'll get a rank just from summoning a few skellies up to like 40, even faster if you use turn undead to mess with zombies in ruins. the moment you can cast summon headless zombie(50?), you're really in business

yes,finished the main quest,guilds and Shivering Isles
it's a pretty good game

Melee combat and level scaling are shit but other than those aspects it's the most well developed and beautiful WRPG setting.
It's better than Skyrim in every way outside of leveling system and Morrowind has better dungeon design.

They were pretty nice quests. Both the questlines and the standalones. Couple of shitters but mostly hits. Apart from the mainline quest, but at least the Shivering Isles is alright.
Also nice OST but that's a given. Spell creation is still neat.

you know i downloaded it on my xbox and was really excited to play it and when i did i was so underwhelmed. like walking around etc is cool its a big space and theres stuff to do but its all about reading these dumb books and all this lore i could give a fuck about. finally came across the ghost of nippen bay or whatever the fuck and was genuinely excited, headed out there and got btfo because i didn't level up enough. i played it unorthodoxly i get it i didn't go to the immediate city when i started and instead chose to explore but fuck that shit. game is a snooze fest.

i'll take halo 2 anyday

Why the fuck does Beth always feel the need to make some broken goddamn fucking retarded leveling system?

you can. get Umbra's sword early on and wreck everything in your path. it's not affected by scaling and is strong no matter when you get it

Porn mods come preinstalled

Leveling system that made sense
Improve spawns of rare enemies, add more Oblivion enemies so you aren't just fighting fucking imps, mudcrabs and bandits all the time
Make Oblivion gates unique puzzle levels based on the traits of different Daedric princes
Either remove personality and charm or actually make them have real effects that can influence quests, remove the stupid wheel minigame
Make the other guild questlines as good as the Dark Brotherhood's and make guild leadership more impactful (exclusive spells, weapons, dialogue, etc)
Fix potato faces
More dungeons with more variety and secrets, with backdrops besides caves
If there was a remake/mod bundle that did all this I honestly think Oblivion could be a perfect 10
