Resident Evil Revelations

Can we all agree that Jill was the hottest in Revelations and that actually it's a pretty decent game?
>cool setting
>good monsters
>good controls (you can move while aiming)
>introduced Raid Mode which is enjoyable

This should be the template for all RE games going forward: pick isolated location, fill with spoopy monsters, send some special agents and most of them die. Hmm, that sounds familiar.

brap

Jill's face was fucking hideous in Revelations, so no.

> Hottest
Jill was incredibly attractive and not over sexualized. I don't know why that's a Jill complaint. She was never over sexy to begin with.
Gameplay was excellent, story was silly but its RE. B horror movie gold. Just enough action and things to make you jump to have a good time. Capcom captured lightning in a bottle. Not sucking the games cock - it was flawed here and their but a good purchase.

The dodge mechanic was ass

It was Dead Aim 2 with more useless side characters and Jill as the lead without the guy taking the literal transgender virus of TG mixture as the main villain. I only played it on PC and the demo on my 3DS, but I can really respect where it came from with the limitations it had in place. I never played Raid Mode, so not sure if I'm missing out or not, but without friends to play it with, probably not?

It's one of my favorites in the series. Pushed a lot of buttons that I personally liked.

Nah Spic Jill is bad and the enemies deviant too much from the RE confort zone.
its not a bad game is just meh

I liked it

rev1 was great i oddly hated rev2

No and no. I'm sick of people pretending like Revelations is good

The whole game was ass. DAT ASS, I mean.

Nah it's a good game around the middle mark among the other resident evils,

For me it was Rachel

It has a nice atmosphere but the combat is the most mediocre shit in the entire series

>goo monsters are shit
>shooting feels like ass
>story is retarded even for RE characters which a bunch of bland or annoying character, usually some mix of both
>hunters aren't even a threat and can be taken down easily with a fucking handgun
>no inventory management
>constantly jump between timelines and characters ripping away any sense of immersion
>cool ship setting isn't taken advantage of when there's hardly any exploration, game just pushes you from A to B
>almost always stuck with a partner character meaning you can't get immersed in the atmosphere of the ship whenever you do get to spend a large chunk of interrupted time on it
>story is shit even for RE standards
>possibly the worst final boss in the franchise, maybe worst boss lineup period
Need I go on?

Meant >with a bunch of bland or annoying characters
Don't know how I messed up that sentence so bad

Shame she's barely in it

A few threads ago i asked about these games and everyone recommended them. i am just waiting for a decent sale somewhere to play them.

It's fucking great for a handheld title.

Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmare is Jill's absolute God-tier design
Baseball caps are something else I fucking swear

I call bs on Norman being the worst final boss when he's a great fight with a dare I say it kino theme.
What you say about the story is true though I still enjoyed it except the terragrigia story segment parts.

I have no idea way. They feel like straight-to-video RE games if that makes sense. Just weird, low budget mediocrity that feel tenuously connected to the rest of the franchise

>call bs on Norman being the worst final boss when he's a great fight
Dude, he's a fucking slog when the dodge mechanic is so finnicky. When you do finally get it down it's just dodging over while pumping bullets into him for far too long in a fight that feels extremely tedious. It drags on and not in a way that builds tension, but in a way that makes you think "holy shit, is this still happening?"

Thankfully she's my main in the raid mode so I get to look at that booty all day.
The trailer featuring did make feel somewhat bad that we couldn't get there in time to save her. Should of been Ramond

Revelations had a lot of potential, mostly from its subtly genius choice of setting for a horror game, but it was heavily bogged down by the chapter-based format, partner characters, jumping perspectives, and action setpieces. Like a lot of mediocre games its quite playable and even enjoyable in the moment, but I still have to say its a bad game. Someone else should make an old school survival horror game set on a cruise ship.

Until REmake 2, it was pretty much the only RE I enjoyed after 4.

>actual good story content relegated to a fucking trailer
God it makes me dislike Revelations even more

>he didn't like 7

How old school do you want it? Cause Resident evil Gaiden has you covered but most will say its the worst game and it is but there's also Resident evil dead aim.

7 was half of a good game bogged down by a lot of modern gaming shit that I hate. It was an experiment that didn't fully pay off, imo.

Did you watch the ones with the multiple Chris's cause that one gets a chuckle from one.

Yeah. I remember it really sparking my interest for the game

Yes. I ogled Jills body in 3D constantly

>Guy that started this Chris Clone thing is probably in the A team working on RE8
Did he finally gonna do it lads?guy really have a boner to Chris being cloned

Yes, Resident Evil: Jill's Ass, was a pretty good game.
