who do you think will win the next generation?
Who do you think will win the next generation?
Probably Xbox just like the previous 3 generations
Sony as usual, maybe Nintendo if they get another Wii
Well Switch will have a 60-70 million head start, so probably that?
FIFA exists so Europe will carry Sony to another 80+ million
Switch is next gen?
>maybe Nintendo if they get another Wii
The Switch is already selling as well/better than the Wii, and their next platform will be 10th gen, so I have no idea what you mean.
based
What do you mean by "win" because Sony hasn't won shit the past two generations.
>Total hardware sales
Nintendo this gen and last
>Total profit
Nintendo this gen and last
>Overall quality
Certainly not Sony.
>Wii U 8th gen
>Switch 9th gen
Yes? Its their next console, its next-generation. Being less powerful than the other competing consoles doesn't factor in at all, its just when the thing releases. Wii U was their 8th gen console, it bombed so after about 4.5 years they moved on. MS spent less time supporting the original Xbox before the 360 came out, it was also about 4 years old.
Just because a new generation starts doesn't mean the last one automatically ends, either. 7th gen still hasn't ended as the consoles still get new games, the Wii got Just Dance 2020 last year. Fuck, 6th gen didn't technically end until 2014 or some shit when PS2 got its last edition of FIFA.
>who do you think will sell the cheapest console
ftfy
>Total hardware sales
>Nintendo this gen and last
3DS + Wii U is still less than PS4 though.
Switch is 9th gen, so they have a big head start on that.,
Sony like always
Are switch shortages that bad, that everyone just buys a ps4 instead?
Or is this from 2 years ago when the ps4 was still beating the switch
WE DID IT, BROS
>s-switch s-shortages
kek
>Literally sold-out everywhere
lol yeah bro all the stores are just lying
In sells? unsure, but probably sony because normies, but in terms of quality? microsoft, just like the last 2 gens
>1984 spycam
>quality
lol the Xbone ensured I will never buy another console made by Microsoft ever again
Lmao ok buddy.
They're pretty bad, yeah.
But keep in mind vgchartz's US and EU numbers are complete guesses, so it's not a good idea to read too much into it.
"Generation" isn't a particularly meaningful categorization for Nintendo's hardware at this point.
Yeah. NPD released yesterday and Switch was breaking records, even it's own launch numbers, so they had to run out eventually thanks to covidchan
Though they said they would start producing normally this week
>in Japan
Nintendo as usual
>in the west
PlayStation as usual
>31
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
You're an idiot. Just take a gander on any website and you will see switch sold out everywhere.
>publicly available information is a conspiracy
Hello, MS shill.
Again, I'm never buying another MS console.
That chart is old, switch passed ps4 last year.
Nintendo have been the most consistent out of everyone with the intervals between their generations.
If it isn't particularly meaningful then, then that just proves that it was never any meaningful categorization to begin with.
The truth is that each engineering pipeline have their own generations. But for some reason people insist on applying the term generation as some broad blanket term to apply to the entire industry at large.
>31 units in Japan
How does Xbawks do it?
ok what?
75 million + 14 million is less than 105 million, and it we lump the Vita in there its like 118 million.
The Switch will have a good 60-65 million head start when PS5 and Xbone2 launch.
What are you not understanding about either of these factual statements?
Nintendo will win Japan because handheld and because Nintendo.
Sony will win the west because FIFA, and the latest gritty movie game and first person shooters.
>US NPD HW - Nintendo Switch set a new all-time record for hardware unit sales in a March month, besting the previous high set by Nintendo Switch in its March 2017 launch month.
>US NPD HW - Nintendo Switch generated the highest first quarter unit sales for any hardware platform since the Nintendo DS in the first quarter of 2010.
First Japan and now the US. How the fuck do they do it and why is Animal Crossing so popular?
It goes back and forth since they launched in different months, their holidays boosts are staggered.
