OH NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
CyberPunk 2077
and GTA 5 felt like a soulless waste of space
it would be fine if it has more shit packed in, GTAV's city was pretty barren sometimes. who the fuck am i kidding, its going to be small and empty isnt it.
Thats the full map? It just looks like its been cropped at the top
Are you retarded?
It is preferable a tighter, more cohesive and content filled world than a boring large landmass filled with nothing.
Why are we cycling back into this shitpost now? Did reddit repost it or something?
I don’t really get why so many people get triggered or start being extremely defensive about this. Just chill. This says absolutely NOTHING about the quality of the game. In neither direction. GTA V was a fantastic video game in my opinion. Cyberpunk will be really fantastic, too. Don’t be easily played like this, people.
Verticallity vs Empty zones.
COPING THIS HARD
It's almost as if Night City in the video game game is based off the map of Night City from the tabletop game.
But with you being a zoomer and all you probably didn't even know the tabletop existed, right?
huh?
that's right user, don't let legitimate counterarguments defeat you! your buzzword will show'em!
What's the problem here? You couldn't even enter 5% of those buildings, a Cyberpunk game needs vertical building to emulate the bottom slum and top elite.
>he fell for the open world meme
>what is scale
But is the map cropped? I just want to know why it would cut so oddly through the city like that. Also, how vertical is it? I know it's supposed to be short as fuck compared to what cyberpunk is supposed to be and doesn't utilize flying cars at all, and that's pathetic and was the final straw that made me give up on it, but I still want to know what it has in its verticality.
Witcher 3 fell for it too, everyone hates that game now.
I dont remember like 80% of V's map.
i thought this game was supposed to release this month. the fuck?
I don't get it, they're the same size
So what?
Everybody fuckign hated the fact GTAV had this giant empty space outside the city and we already know Cyberpunk is going to have taller, larger and more enterable buildings you can see it in the gameplay demo that mega-building V's apartment is in.
I swear to god this place just wants to make up bullshit controversy for (you)s
its not cropped.
>tfw you won't be able to enter even a tenth of those buildings
Aren't there any games with full exploration?
>everyone hates that game now
By everyone you mean the five autistic people here in Yas Forums?
Where's based Shazam sip poster?
Too many tranny apologist in this thread
You end up with Bethesda games.
This is a good thing. GTA V's map is too fucking big with nothing to do. Cyberpunk will presumably be more dense, which is infinitely better
>Everyone hates it
>That's why it just sold more in 2020 than it did in 2015, which is an absolutely insane amount of sales.
This is good for CP2007. Huge open worlds are a negative, too overwhelming, boring and end up looking copy pasted, like AC odyseey. Only zoomers will disagree, muh map size muh better game
Wait, you're telling me it actually just does one big fucking straight cut through the tiny goddamn city? That's so fucking stupid that I actually don't believe it. I'm actually going to fucking check this shit out and see if it's only part of the map that was revealed. It's fucking stupid enough that the "city" is spread out smaller than a fucking yugoslavian village - SANS FARMS - but to actually cut it off halfway fucking through what little you have? Nah, nah cunt, that can't be the fucking case. That's too fucking stupid for me to actually reconcile that fact. This is some AAAAH A TENTACLE I'M GOING INSANE levels of wrongness right fucking now.
It's fucking smaller than Toussaint and that was a DLC.
If anyone likes cyberpunk and "strategic" cRPGs in this thread, I would highly recommend Shadowrun: Dragonfall. Sure it has magic and shit too, but at the end of the day it portrays Cyberpunk the best out of any series. Tons of atmosphere.
youtube.com
This may be the only good thing about Cyberpunk.
GTAV's map was too big.
That's not event he right scale first of all, he just plopped it into the image for shitposting purposes.
Obviously it's cropped. It wouldn't make sense if the surrounding of every other side shows open space and the top doesn't. Don't get mad when it's clear it's a shitpost
Someone made a 3d model of the map:
3dwarehouse.sketchup.com
Cyberpunk is going to be more dense than GTA is. We know there's megacomplex's and I wouldn't doubt sewer areas along with ocassional mutli-layered street level stuff.
Well, I looked it up.
Jesus.
No you didn't
It's not an official photo. Every photo of it is ripped from a a photo that look like it was taken by a phone
post bad maps
Yes I did faggot, and all I'm seeing is a bunch of cucked articles saying IT MIGHT BE SMALLER THAN WITCHER 3 BUT IT'S VERTICAL and ITS LIKE A DENSELY PACKED GTA, but when I remember that there are no flying cars I find it very hard to give a shit about verticality.
I'm not seeing anything but a bunch of cope and excuses.
Why would a city end like that? It is likely cropped, the map source is from a cover of a leaked book and the map got cut off by the top.
Tortanic
user if you aren't going to act like a genuinely intelligent adult. don't reply to me.
>Map takes place on an island
I fucking hate this. It always ruins my immersion, especially if there's no land in sight beyond the ocean.
