I'll just use the same pasta from last thread Here are my best levels so far, if you like any please consider trying my newer stuff >Precise Pipes - Short level with precise jumps and very limited block palate QF2-LKN-HXG >Melting Castle - Frozen coin block gimmick level FTL-4DQ-H5G >Parkour Fortress - Just difficult jumps, no way to die 93N-XM7-TBG >Coins Above Clouds - Easy but unique puzzle level 3VH-3H6-XGF >Battle Box - You have to wait in a box full of enemies for a decent bit of time X7G-P9Y-4KF >Snowy Night - Just a standard snow-themed level 6WK-0M6-VMF I'll play some of the levels posted here later
Jayden Perez
what aesthetic should i go with on for a level im working on in the SMB3 jungle theme? (the one with the pipes)
Ayden Hall
Asked this in a previous thread but do you guys think making all my levels the same style for consistency would be better, or make them different styles but still keep a main theme throughout the world?
Zachary Bailey
I am excited about the possibility of creating entire worlds. I don't like gimmicks very much and that's why I never really dedicated myself to Mario Maker 2. I made a level with a silly gimmick where the player needed to get through each screen as quickly as possible before a "door" closed and it was my highest rated level, despite being the worst I did. Now with World Maps I think that more traditional levels will have a chance to be successful since they work well when played in sequence.

OP here, im on Hawaii Time I usually get them 9pm my time, so like 7 hours?
>snow level Yeah im thinking its based.
Gonna try yours after this snow level. Thanks for sharing.
Austin Lewis
>20s speedrun DGL-XVN-7HG I should have posted the title in the previous thread. It's called 'Forestial Frenzy 2' and has a nice ending. Also, thanks OP
Levi Russell
Personally I think a themed set would be better, but seeing that we dont know if or how powerups are carried over yet, I think we have to wait for that determination.

SERVER MAINTENANCE IN ONE HOUR
Bentley Garcia
here a level that i made to show the shit hitboxes of the munchers
>6GF-WJP-8VF
Nathaniel Clark
>Matinence RIP thread
Anthony Smith
I think it depends a lot on your intention. If you want to make an absolutely traditional game, you might want to keep at least the same style in each world. I personally think that mixing the styles is not a big problem, especially the three from the NES/SNES.

I just got the notification... nice.
Luke Parker
Here's a level I made back when the game came out, I tired to make a traditional jungle level revolving around fishbones. It might be a bit short though >Dying Swamp 5FJ-889-07G
Evan Richardson
So fucking hyped lads

God I can't wait, simply having the phantom key unlocks tons of ideas I've always wanted to try
Stoked for the update to drop. Fingers are crossed we get more than 1 World game per profile.

Bit Crusade 3 is an adventure series of Mario levels that play in the traditional sense (scaling difficulty, hidden rooms and level theming). So if you like traditional Mario stages you’ll probably like these. The “game” utilizes all 5 styles so there’s a little something for everyone. Every stage has 5 red coins that are optional, but open a bonus room at the end of the level.
Rad, these will be fun to blow through once I finish the stage I'm working on, just gotta finish the bonus room and a give it a general once over and it'll be done.
Good question. I think they usually update MM late at night so possibly midnight after/if they do maintenance. Don't know for sure though.
Freestyle it man. Nothing says you cant do a mix of both.
>>Pitch Perfect You realize you can hit the on and off switch twice to take out the bouncing munchers? Good level though
Nicholas Anderson
I'm so absolutely thrilled by having all the Koopalings. I'm boss-obsessed and create a whole environment where the boss makes sense, so with how distinct each of the new monsters' designs are I see basically no end to it. Even the basic ass levels you encounter on random with the empty boss room will feel fresh after so much tedium. Sorry Boom Boom, you just can't measure up anymore. I can't wait.
>Sky Turtle v2 >TPF-BFT-TCG My first map, but not the original version, hence the v2. Has some issues with too many enemies but there is a secret shortcut to get past the hardest part >Pitfall Tower >57K-TW7-WHG A multipart castle stage, there's a secret shortcut >Soft & Wet >3G5-F3W-FBG A much shorter and easier level featuring an overabundance of Cheep Cheeps >Green Hill Zone Act 1 >H4M-BXP-PSF My attempt at recreating a level that doesn't need to be recreated again >The Summit of All Fears >XQH-KNV-NSG The red coins are a requirement to beat the level, you need to use Yoshi for only one of them >Fleet of Foot >LP3-L22-J8G Features the shoe powerup, idk, kind of uninspired >Sewer Side City >QY8-TTN-4SF People seem to have trouble with this one, personally it's one of my favorites that I've made. I like the aesthetic. There's a secret shortcut to skip most of the level in this one. >Sand Castle >BJW-GBK-JWF Another multipart stage, I kinda like this one too
anyone know if a ninji speedrun level has been dropped since the smb3 claw level? I haven't seen anyone talking about ninji speedruns after that one dropped.
David Hill
That was the last one
Levi Jackson
well fuck I'll have to rework some of my old levels I was doing for my "SMB1.5" series, but man am I hyped, the new update looks fantastic. Here's the best level I've made: >Forgotten Fortress 7X7-H3L-2VG
You guys going to make your worlds go in the normal Grass-Desert-Whatever order or mix it up? I'm thinking of having my grass world be the 5th world and the snow world be the 1st
Landon Cox
I am going to use the shit out of this powerup. I love SMB2
Ryder Davis
is it on pc ?
Jonathan Turner
updates come out at the start of maintenance, the online wont be back on till 11pm EST, update at 9PM
James Kelly
This was insane, I was killed the first time I tried the 3rd tier, then made it through the 2nd time completely by accident when trying to get to the top.
Holy crap I didn't notice, you're right I forgot to put a cover blue block under it.... thanks for catching that will update it later
I intend to make a small game, so I will use the grass world for the first world, desert with parts of water for the second and Bowser Castle for the third and last world.
Mason Carter
is the world maker only going to be one screen worlds?
Ian Martin
That level lol feel like you have to get lucky on that.
Jeremiah Morales
Be sure to put in a lot of hazards that make them harder to avoid because frog Mario is less agile.
Mario in the Sky - Short, sweet, fast-paced, my favorite level. 1CH-6YS-KPG
Jungle Floods - Standard Mario Level. I like it a lot, but it's probably too hard. CJ1-79M-XRG
Shelldenfreude - My kaizo level if you're into that. Would be cool if someone beat it. YC2-37F-KPG
Ayden Gray
Nice level man. Hearted.
Easton Jenkins
My prediction of how the World Map Editor will work: Although it looks like a game, it will actually be more like a HUD where players can organize their levels. When the player enters your game, he will download all levels and maps, so he will be able to play all levels in sequence but the next time he enters your world, he may be different, with other levels, another amount of lives, etc. It is basically a more fun way to present your levels and not a real "game" that you publish.
Camden Diaz
Thank you, feels good to see that people like my levels, even though I've only posted one
