the changes overall are great but i have two major issues with royal. 1st being that the game is significantly easier now and the 2nd being that the boss battle changes to okumara is pure aids.

i already played the original persona 5 on rpcs3. I loved it so much I want to play royal without paying 260 dollars for one game. I'l definitely get around to playing it one day if ports don't come but best case scenario a port comes to switch or pc.

honestly they made the large majority of the boss battles worse. I understand what they were aiming for by adding more layers and linearity to the boss battles but i really liked how before you could straight rush kill a good portion of the boss battles with really good planning. I feel like a lot more of the combat is holding your hand throughout now and it just feels less smt because of it.

Gameplay changes are great but the new plotline is fucking cringe, and also undoes the game having a neat ending. The final arc has the same weight as an Shonen anime filler movie

I think the issue is the ending is some setup to whatever spinoff they'll finish the plot in, be it Arena scramble or some manga. I guess that makes sense, the only people autistic enough to pay 90$ for a game they already played are probably also going to be supremely invested in the characters and follow them wherever, but as a result it really does make it seem less complete.

I paid $90 for a game (Collector's edition) I originally bought for $30 2 years ago and it felt like a brand new game to me. Keep trying to feel superior, kid. Hope you find what you're looking for one day.

Tons of quality of life changes, the cat doesn't put you to bed nearly as often, much more opportunities to level up social stats, more room to max out all personas, completing dungeons is significantly easier because of collectible items that restore SP, all dlc from p5 is free so you start with a bunch of fun OP personas, all bosses have been edited slightly and there's a whole new arc after the final boss

I didn't like the new ending, either. I hated the fact that KASUMI just says "Take care" even though she sucks your dick HARD throughout out the whole game. I hate Akechi and always will. Hate that they tease this little cry baby daddy issues having faggot being alive. AGGGGHHH
