Fallout 76 has been reviewbombed (probably rightfully so because of how bad it was on release). If you filter reviews to people that have actually played for a few hours, the ratings go way up

Sadly it still suffers tremendously from the petrol huffing shitfest of "creative decisions" that plagued Fallout 4. Having to resort to special points rather than skills for speech checks can work in some cases but having high intelligence now automatically makes you a doctor, technician, the worlds largest expert in virtually everything. And the "smart" things you say are really fucking basic general knowledge shit. I feel that the writing and voice acting in 76 is best in the tapes and notes, because the instant NPCs show up, its obvious they got help from the main team because they are all plastic juvenile retards who dont pass as believable humans.
It was incredibly fucking frustrating when that chinese spy woman said that she cant give us the suit because "they" will find out and hunt us down and I simply wasnt allowed to ask who she meant. She implied that chinese agents are still all active in the US and conduct operations but Ill never find out because for some reason I wasnt allowed to ask basic questions.
