Games good. I'll never not like it. Honestly when I finished the game and hopped online I was shocked at the reception. It was one of the most satisfying third person shooters I've played. People like to say Capcom learned their lesson and 7 was such a stellar return to form or whatever but how often do you replay 7 really? How fun are those mechanics to play around with?

Honestly can't even remember the story since its fragmented between three campaigns.

It is pretty fun with a friend though, I had the pink fucker's jump timing down perfect so I would just wade in to a pack of them and melee them all to death.

Resident evil 6 is a great third person shooter with fun co OP. The campaign crossover is a lot of fun to. I think the dodge and rolling mechanics are fun and something different. I think if you want a mindless action game with a buddy you could do a lot worst in my opinion.

Replayed the whole series a while ago for 3 and my god, it was jarring going for RE5 to 6. 6 made 5 seem like a fucking masterpiece.
In 5 it was at least fun to shoot and melee but 6 had to ruin it with it's unfun enemies, shit graphics and awful environments.

mercenaries in this is fun as hell but everything else is trash. guns do feel like shit but imagine relying on guns in a post re4 world

I replayed 7 and beat it just the other day. Only fun parts were rhe ship and mines when I could actually kill some enemies instead of hiding in the pantry from zany grandparents

5 isn’t a great game but it’s far from a bad game and is tolerable for a playthrough or 2. I was trying to play through the whole series again and I played Leon’s first chapter in 6 and just stopped after that. It’s an awful game.

A CV remake could’ve been the best in the series and add an unbeatable Wesker as the final boss where you have to survive for awhile

I wouldn't call it trash but it was really stupid with shitty QTEs nonsense boulder punching, a dreadful forced coop partner with braindead AI. I just wanted to see what happens with Wesker since he was my favorite character in the series.... Again not trash but I personnaly wouldn't recommend it.

they could ahve also expanded on Alfred and Alexia, they had a lot of wasted potential in the orginal game.
