Build quality. Had one break with light use within 3 months.

Only flaw is finding one requres you to like arrange a fucking underground meeting and bring a fat stack of hundreds and magnifying glass. Things are worth their weight in gold at this point.

best controller ever made

I can’t

1. not the wired version which has better rumble and is more comfortable
2. kinda shitty d-pad
3. bumpers are not as durable as the rest of the buttons

Nice controller though

user they're like $20 on ebay

Nope. Fakes.

xbone controller feels much better to hold

Can't buy one anymore.

Eh there isnt much a difference. Xbox and PC read them both as a controller and theres no real input issues

ps4 feels better, but the ps3 was shit compared to it

i can't, I've had mine for 10 years now and it's still going.

worst fucking dpad of all the consoles

>console

Dpad.

shit dpad but last twice as long as a PS3 controller. Though PS3 controller is superior otherwise. Oh well maybe one day we'll get a true king.

>buy a cordless so I don't have to keep buying expensive batteries to play games when I sit a foot in front of my monitor anyways
>cord shorts in 2 weeks and I don't have a soldering iron

Thanks Amazon.

dpad sucks

> Battery pack protrudes like a giant ballsack attached to the back of the controller
> Grip bumps wear off of the sticks very quickly
> Dpad is unusable for anything more complex than switching items
> Attracts tons of dirt, especially the white version
> No Bluetooth so you need a stupid dongle to use it on PC
The One X controller is an improvement in every respect. Only reason people like the 360 controller is nostalgia from when Xbox itself was actually good.

you rang?

Battery bump restricts finger space
Dpad is poopy
Too easy to fatfinger the home button while pressing start
Xbone is a direct upgrade

I don't deny the fact that the d-pad isn't great...

What controller has the best d-pad ever made?

My vote might go to sega genises....

rubber thumbstick peels
battery pack juts out
dpad
xbone controller improves in most ways
plastic gets greasy if you're eating
bumpers punch in over time

Cant hold it like a gun and pretend to shoot it pew pew

It's black.

That feels exactly the same as the standard one. Changing how far the corners protrude doesn't fix anything

It's not the Duke.

For me, it's a tossup between the Xbox One and the Wii U gamepad. Yes, really. It's actually super comfy despite its appearance.

despite having played a lot of earthworm jim I never actually have held a genesis controller in my hands once
I need to try it sometime

the main downfall of every controller is the right stick for aiming as it is janky and imprecise
how consolers do it is beyond me

Why the fuck did they even change it for the XBone?
They made the sticks loose as all hell.

please go threat your parkinsons

Serves me like a trooper for, jesus, almost 10 years. Rubber on sticks is completely gone.

>shitty dpad
>need to configure 20% deadzone for every game
>sticks rubber wears off
>bumpers start squeaking
>battery pack that barely stays on, resulting in constant "controller disconnected"
>shitty receiver for the pc

Dpad is horrible in fighting games

I had that one, and it was a step forward. But the Dpad itself felt even more cheap than the ones on regular controllers.

my old receiver still works fine, even if it's half-buried in a plant pot.

It's not M n' K.

False. There's tons on ebay BIN between $20 - $50. All legit.

no dick

Build quality. One of them I had the bumpers break, one of them I think the triggers stopped working.

>d-pad
>AA batteries

Had 2 of these, it was very slight improvement. But they looks great.

Show me.

Yeah, mine works fine too but it's so inconvenient and bulky. I'm so glad the xbone version uses a simple usb as a receiver.

Just the battery part for me, i usually prefer wireless with a non removable battery. One I can recharge. But its still a comfy ass controller

distracting bright light in the middle of the controller. had to put a piece of tape over it.

It's not wired
